Predictions, prognostications, pontifications?....smack talk? I'll start if off with some predictions

AFC East:
Patriots
Jets
Bills
Dolphins

AFC North:
Bal
Pitt
Cincy
Browns

AFC South:
Texans
Jags
Titans
Colts

AFC West:
Denver
SD

Raiders

NFC East:
Dallas
Giants
Skins
Eagles

NFC North
Chicago
GB
Det
Minn

NFC South:
Atlanta
TB
Car
NO

NFC West:
Niners
No one else really matters in this division but for argument's sake, I'll go with Seattle, Cards and StL in that order.

You and no one else are picking the Bears to take the NFC North over the Packers. Based on one game against a team that is going to go 14-2 this year, their toughest game of the year. Packers will not lose more than 3 more which puts them at 12-4. The Bears are 10-6 at best. You will see it tonight when Cutler goes off the field crying to his mommy.

I told you. Cutler sacked 7 times. Yes 7 times, 4 times by Matthews. How do you think he is feeling this morning?

I'm not a Bears fan and yes they got smacked around last night like a $2 ho; however, its a long season and anything can happen. Almost everyone thought the Packers would wipe the floor with the Gints last year in the playoffs, so that just goes to show how much faith I put in the majority opinion 8-) Ya gotta admit though that the NFC North is not a one team race anymore...its a competitive division.

It is a competitive division for sure. The Packers are probably the team that is least improved from last year, although it did appear last night that their D may be turning the corner.

Packers 12-4
Lions 10-6
Bears 9-7
Viking 6-10

Oh, and screw the Giants.

That is a pretty good pick. If Brady is healthy, don't see the Patriots losing more than 3 games all year and I am not a homer.

Agreed. I was impressed how Ridley was running, if he can keep running like that the Pats are going to be very hard to beat.

Brady to Lloyd is going to be fun to watch when they're totally in sync.

I'd like to thank the Steelers for beating the Jets. The Cards are a much improved team, especially on defense, but yea, they shouldn't have won. The Steelers will have their clunker game soon enough this season. BTW, both teams are 1-1 :eye:

When will the replacement refs be out and the real refs put back in place? That's when we all win.

Also, what is up with the Bucs knocking down Eli at the end of the game when he is taking a knee?

Hahha. What goes around comes around. The Cards would whip the Raiders AND the Steelers! That defense is long in the tooth and SLOW!

The Jets weren't going anywhere this season WITH him.

What happened last night, where was my help from the Pats?!? That defensive collapse was worse than that of the Steelers vs. the Raiduhs, grrrr.

These refs are unbelievable. Making a drinking game out of every stoppage of play from a zebra is the only way to make a game watchable, imo. :drunken:

Yea, I don't get how they are getting worse. It seemed like they were ok in week 1 but are slowly getting worse since then. God Complex Goodell needs to get the refs back, stat.

The fortunate thing for him is that it all gets forgotten amidst the hoopla after last night's traveshamockery of a football "game."

The good thing is that the Green Bay Packers will recover from that loss but it may end up costing them a home playoff game.

Big Ben looked good though. OK, I didn't see the game beyond x's and o's on the computer, but he passed for over 360 yards.

Playing on the road, the Steelers were missing Polamalu and Woodley from the start, lost half their offensive line during the game, and if Keenan Lewis makes that interception catch that hit him in the numbers, the game is over.

But excuses are excuses and the team should have never been in the position in the first place to allow the Titans offense to make the game winning field goal drive. The defense used to be clutch and now they just let teams dominate them at the end of games. Losing to the Broncos, Raiders and now the Titans, it's pretty obvious that the team will be fortunate to go 8-8. You have to be a good team in the first place to have a 'clunker' don't you? :P

Bring on Utah DT Star Lotulelei! Dude is gonna be a S-T-U-D at the next level. 8-)

I'll give ya that...there really aren't many standout elite teams in this parity filled season thus far.

Hey, where's Stewy???....must've been a rough night for him lastnight. Yanks and Steelers going down..yikes! I'll give em Ryan in the debate though :thumright:

Not so sure about Cleveland, If I had to pick I'd take Cincy and I agree on San Fran.

Only game I bet on this week was Miami -3.
