I have been working on a free public course at my old high school in Wilton nh. It's still under construction but will have 9 holes ready in spring 2013. 18 is the goal but I have 9 baskets now. I'm always looking for volunteers to help build/design the remaining holes. Also looking for lumber donations for tee boxes and sign posts. This course is being built with 100% donations and volunteers so any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,
As soon as I get otter brook cut, fairways cleared, teepads cemented, baskets installed, and signage in place, I'll be right over :D

Seriously though, building a course is a sh@T ton of work as I am finding out, if I can chip in a little bit I'll be glad to, would love to see your design, I thought you did a decent job with feel good in terms of design layout. it's amazing what a difference 5-6 guys working can do compared to 1, (I'm sure you know this already). Post upcoming workdays and I'll grab chainsaw and polesaw and head out your way for a change of pace.

You ain't kidding Rob. I've been lucky enough to have a handful of helpers, but it's still too close to real work. I can't wait to see your course, I don't get out that way much but ill make a day of it sometime. The WLC course is a huge improvement to Feel Good, best thing is WLC is FREE public course. My # is 603-546-8257 if you ever want to exchange ideas ( I have some things cookin). Best of luck.

Long live course builders!!!
