So what's proper edicate when you find a disc on the course? I've been putting discs I find on a basket or hanging them some place obvious. If I should be doing something else I'd like to know. Thanks for any info.

Left an orange Predator just short of the fence on hole 8 coming from white tees, RHBH throw. Floated over the top of the basket, then faded wet. Name and number on it, and as it's an Elite X, would love to get it back.

Some courses have a lost n found box or in the case of Maple Hill, a pro shop that will accept found discs.
Proper etiquette is to call the number on the disc.
If there's no owner info marked on the disc, then look for it here on the course thread where you found it at.
Post basic info here with the hole# where found and see if someone responds with details as to the color/mold/stamp.

Thanks Jeff, ill start doing that. Hadn't wanted to put them in my bag to bring to the pro shop for fear of being accused of stealing.

Re: Maple Hill 2013
I lost one of my favorite neon yellow/green Destroyers this past Sunday at about 4:30.
Left it right in the middle of #12 Gold fairway.
Anyone who turns it in will be rewarded.
Anyone who keeps it and is throwing it will be punished.
Help a brotha out.....

Re: Maple Hill 2013
There will be a bunch of additions entered on Monday.
I just want everyone to know Maple Hill spends thousands of dollars annually to keep the lost and found the best one available in disc golf.
If you don't get your discs back, they may still be lost. Hopefully someday our divers will find it if its in a pond and hopefully someone will return the discs found out on the course.
Remember this very important tidbit:
If you don't ever want to lose your prized disc, don't throw it. Otherwise, good luck

Re: Maple Hill 2013
Well said, thank you Mr. Jackson.
While warming up for Gold's yesterday I lost a brand new, straight from the Sap house orange pro destroyer on the right edge of hole ones pond. Thought it would be visible, but there seems to be a crazy amount of vegetation going on right now. As always course is looking great and playing very well! Forgot how painful Golds can be

Holy Blue Blazes!
I lost two today - Wednesday 7/24 -
1. Hole 16 Blue Tee - a Blue Blizzard Destroyer - lefty flick from the tee, hit an early tree, bounced right. It has Trent Solomon's name on it, faded ink - got it in a second hand trade.
2. Hole 17 Blue Tee - a Blue First Run DD Lucid Escape. Another lefty flick that pushed to the right, followed the trail of trees to the right toward the 16 blue basket, but was probably pretty short.
I looked for about 20 minutes per disc and only came up with 2 others that I handed in to Dave.

There's one in the Buff water L&F
(best I can do for ya at the present time (until I dive again), considering the turtles down in the mud are telling me that YOUR discs seem to bury themselves extra deep
. But they (the M.H. turtles) are using them for wall-to-wall hard(plastic)wood flooring
.

I let a buddy of mine try out a red NEFA Finals Z Nuke on gold hole 2, and he forgot it in the fairway. There's no name on it, and it's pretty much brand new...hoping it got turned in!

Lost a lot of good friends out there.
Blue Cyclone in the pond on hole 14
Yellow Pro Cobra thrown from the drop zone on hole 8
Purple Ghost and Blue Polaris thrown into the pond on 1
Praying to have my faith returned in Maple Hill's Lost and Found community. Reward offered on the cobra since it isn't made anymore.

Re: Maple Hill 2013
Had a great time at the VibrAM, but not without a couple casualties! My blue M2 (proto m3) is chillin about 30 feet short of hole 8 in the water, was chillin on top of the lily pads so at least it could taunt me. I think my ink is fading on that one. I also lost my glow buzzz throwing down hole 13. Turned over the whole way and couldn't find it, most likely in the pond for hole 14, or somewhere deep in the woods. Has ace writing on top.

Re: Maple Hill 2013
Lost a putter!!! In the most unlikely of ways.
KC Pro GLow Borderlands Aviar. Up in the tree directly at the entrance gap of Hole 13. Bad drive = awkward approach shot that went up in the big branch and stuck. Was hoping the wind on Friday would knock it down.

Don't remember all the names I found Monday (dove 1 tank's worth covering 8-over-the-causeway, 8, and a little of 1) but there IS one of yours Dena! Y'all need to check at the pro shop and see....
Karl
Ps: Will be diving there again in about 3 weeks...but it is getting ever-increasingly tough (as the weeds are stupid thick).
