Pros: $50 ($45 to payout, $5 to the course, $3 to the PDGA, $2 to PayPal)
Ams: $25 ($20 to MH Blues full color Lace, sticker, and mini, $5 to the course, $3 to the PDGA, $1.50 to PDGA, trophies to top some)

Non-PDGA members will be asked to pay $5 extra at registration (MH will cover the other $5 of the non-member PDGA fee)

2013 Maple Hill SUMMER TIME BLUES July 7th (Sunday) PDGA


This is what I got:

Registration/Check In from 7:45 to 8:45am.
Players meeting at 8:45
Head to your holes at 9:00
Start first round at 9:15

Second round starts 45 minutes after the last card is turned in from first round.

Awards following the second round.

Two rounds of disc golf on the blues.

Field of 72 players.

WE WILL HAVE A PIZZA VENDOR ON HAND TO TAKE LUNCH ORDERS DURING REGISTRATION.

Make it a NEFA event and you got it. You can call it New England DGC.

I can't make it a NEFA event because they only let you have one per course per year, I believe.

Steve has the Maple Hill event as the points event.

yeah what an outdated dumb rule..esp when course in ME that just happen to have 2 courses in one spot that don't connect they were allowed..

but since the layouts cross at MH/BL etc then they can't..cuz the rule is defined by area of land traversed

esp with this new format trying to get more peeps qualified..why not let peeps just run as many as they want..or at least start by increasing to 2 a year

I understand the olllllld thinking when pyramids(for ex) could run one every week and everyone would just go there and it would be unfair to ME/NH/VT etc etc

that as I was once told about an issue is just a perceived issssue IMO now and would not happen...lets give players more credit then that and TD's don't got time for that...

plus I see all the TD's courses having multi events..making the other non nefa's Pdga...why let the pdga eat that up....

well I am sure it will be taken as another BOD bash...when in all reality it is an evolve the sport thing...I have said it for years..maybe a few more years till it sinks in...

edit..also we now limit peeps to "where" they can qualify esp if they are MA resident...kinda bias not MA's fault we have more events,players,courses...they need to step up elsewhere IMO...and I love the limiting solution rather the hey maybe just allow more events..hey what an idea more events allowed at each courses means more chances to qualify....and hey NY stop ya complaining now about MA and just throw more events instead of limiting MA residents to compensate
