Feed The Beast - Page Park - 7/21/2013 - NEFA *FULL*

Post by James Lane »

Great day yesterday! Tournaments take a small army of people to run, so BIG THANKS to everyone who helped in any way! Shawn Brunoli, Rich Vontell, John Nolan, Jim Hoebel, , my wife Kari!!!, Duncan, Willie, Falls, Ccow, LiCk, Ditter, Brian Carter,Zoro, Wintrob, our fantastic chef, and anyone else I forgot. What a great reminder how nice easy it is to be on just the player side of things! I thought tourney central came out great, Shawn designed some great banners and signs, Rich's Beast creation lurking in the pond all day!!

Local business sponsors have been stepping up, and they are excited to do so.

Players packs are taking shape too!
Every player will receive a tourney tshirt when they arrive on Sunday.
And for all non-pro divisions, player packs will include a custom stamped disc (likely a floater to go with the theme), the tshirt, re-usable scorecard and pencils, plus local business swag like gift certificates and other freebies.

Harvest Bakery will provide free fresh baked goods for us in the A.M.
Harvest Bakery has been a staple of Bristol for almost 75 years, through four generations.
Their stuff is really amazing!

If anyone has mailed a check, make sure it is addressed to:

John Nolan
270 Jerome Avenue
Bristol, CT 06010

I deleted the course address from this page, I think some checks were sent there.
If you mailed a check to the King St address, you may want to cancel that and resend to jerome Ave.

Thanks!

20 spots left, with a bunch of verbals... so better hurry if you want to get in!!

Another topic, mini work day tomorrow, Ill be there from early AM until whenever, focus on getting materials from the store to the course, cutting new lines on 13, burying some actual tee posts, and maybe working on 13's new long tee.
More hands makes lighter work!

Is there a new 9 in the works too??
