NEFA GEAR

Post by Matt DeAngelis »

OK folks, we are going to be putting together an order for some NEFA Gear. First up will be a simple dry fit shirt with the NEFA logo on the back. I am going to setup a site for you to submit a pre-order of sorts, but without taking any payment. This will give us a good idea of the sizes and the quantities we need to order. Hoping to get these out to players by the beginning of August. Cost will likely be around $15 per shirt, but could be higher depending on a couple factors. Stay tuned.

Yeah, the plan would be to put out a few different color options for the shirts. The stamp would be a one color stamp though.

Do you have to be a NEFA member to get one?

If not, I'd love an XL, maybe 2 if the color choices strike me.....

If so, well, I guess I'll have to get one that....

No need to be a NEFA member to order one. When I get the site up, you will be able to select your color and size for pre-order.

The shirt would have the NEFA logo on it (what Kenji posted above) on the back of the shirt. The shirts will most likely be this type, but I will know more after this weekend.

All of those colors and sizes would be available. Remember, this is the first of a series of NEFA gear items that will be offered. The next batch will likely be polos and will be in time for October, then some sweatshirts for the fall/winter months.

This is great. Gotta love a dri-fit shirt when it is as hot as this. Especially when it rains on you during the round. Three holes later and your shirt is dry.
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

Some movement has been made on this, but it is a little different than I originally anticipated, which is leading to the slow response in getting something up for people to order. Rest assured, it should be ready to go soon! Thanks for your patience!

Great idea, Matt - hoping for dri-fit polos as well. Like the color choices too!

How's the quality on these Dri-fit shirts?

I know if the shirts were made top notch quality, they would better represent NEFA.

Steve Dodge has done tons with buying logo'd apparel over the years, it may be worth checking with him to see where he gets his logo'd apparel?

Having a shirt made that costs a few bucks more on the wholesale end will net better results than a cheap bargain priced shirt. The fit, material quality and overall finish is well worth the few bucks more to purchase said shirts.

Just an idea.

I agree, the quality needs to be there. The shirts we did for the earl cup this year seem pretty decent, but not sure how they will hold up.

I know my "don't blame me shirts" have held up sweet over what 4 years maybe...

and dodge can tell ya I have wore it to every event..lol

not sure of the brand will have to find it..must be buried in the laundry MNT I currently have

It was from Jeannies company..although I have heard of some complaints on the nefa worlds shirts..but think they were rectified...and they might have been a different brand anyways

Was it official that her position w/ the company is no longer?
and/or the company is gone?

what are the current obstacles this project is encountering?

just wondering

No obstacles, just finalizing things. It looks like we are going to end up going with an online store front, similar to what Jeannie was offering.

NEFA Gear Store is now up and running thanks to Anhyzer Tees! We've started out small with only a couple of basic designs and products, but will look to expand our offerings down the road.
