KC Prox AVIAR 12X WTF!
In the past two weeks, I have had 3 of these break down the middle on me while putting. I have a stack of 10 that I keep in my practice basket in my driveway, they just broke, when they hit the basket, it wasn't like I drilled a tree or they were frozen. Has anyone else had this problem? I like these but may switch over to Vibram or my wizard if these keep snapping, maybe I got a bad mold?
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

Re: KC Prox AVIAR 12X WTF!
If they're left out in the weather all the time, i'm thinking that could cause a faster material breakdown of the plastic.

Seeing your putting is alot like mine Rob, maybe they were just not used to hitting the basket!
How long have you had them btw?

Re: KC Prox AVIAR 12X WTF!
That's a low blow Jim, too bad it's true
I've had them for about a year or so, weird thing is that one of them that broke was my regular putter I keep in my bag which I keep inside, so weathering wasn't a factor with this.
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

ANOTHER ONE BROKE ON ME TONIGHT! Definitely making the switch to wizards and vibrams. I hate it when products crap out for no apparent reason.
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

cant be left out in the weather. The plastic will break down. The sun destroys plastic. I never had any break that we kept indoors.

love the wizard too- the champs don't carry it because the rest of gateway's lineup is bunk compared to most
i'd bet money (a dollar, maybe two) that if putters were exempt from sponsorships, you'd see a lot of pros using them
but i'm surprised to hear that you broke so many
the ones that broke- are they pre or post flight numbers?

Post flight, but the more I read, I am thinking sitting out in my basket didn't help them, I didn't realize the sun also impacted them as much as weather does, my putting is consistently inconsistent anyways, really hoping to get it dialed in over the winter, can't blame my putter for bad mechanics.
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

Get Vibram.
You hit basket a lot. Vibram forgives.

Looks like I need to stock up on vibram, aerobie and a few judges, I should also learn how to putt.

See what happens when you guys use putters that are made of good plastic! They get a little sunburn and go all to hell. Inexpensive, floating Aerobie plastic I tell ya
. I've had 3 Arrows sitting in my Mach III now for 4 years; they've NEVER been inside...365.25 days a year in the basket (or on the ground if I miss) - sun / rain / snow / you name it. They HAVE (at least the red and yellow ones, but not the blue at all) bleached out wicked so, but are still good as the day I was given them.
Damn good-plastic putters.
Karl
I've got five Vibram Summits that have been outside 24/7 for three years now, also in perfect condition. Although they mostly sit on my grill next to the house ready to be thrown when I walk out the back door. (on the north side of my house, out of direct sunlight for the most part).
