What's the skinny on The Blitz by Latitude 64?

I found an Opto Blitz at Page a few months back. When I called the owner, he said to keep it. I haven't thrown it yet, I am looking for an overstable flick disc. Right now I use a champion old school Boss. According to the flight chart, the Blitz looks a little more overstable. Looking for answers before I actually go to a field and try it out.

What have y'all been throwing for that (must come back and not turn over) power flick disc?
Also would like to know what the masses are using for an overstable middy flicker?
thanks

Mike,

Since you specified 11x Firebird, there is a difference btw other FB and the 11x?

Obex is a reliable midrange flick disc?

I have been using the Gateway Warrior or Pig for my midrange flick disc. The pig is pretty reliable but I'm looking for a little more glide. The Warrior started out great, now I tend to turn it over if I throw too hard.

thanks

I use a kc pro aviar for any shot less than 200'. The key is a smooth stroke and release- avoid off axis torque. In my opinion the use of overstable disc for a midrange forhand shot is masking poor technique. A pure hyzer shot will be easier to control. Find a disc that feels good in your forehand grip and practice throwing hyzer while slowly adding power. Be sure that as you amp up power your form doesn't change - it is tempting to roll your wrist when throwing harder, but your hand should finish palm up.
