New Course in Norwood

I've had a couple of conversations with Gerry Miller Norwoods Recreation dept. director he is very interested in a disc golf course for Norwood.On Friday we went to Borderland so that he could get a visual and we played the first four holes.On our way back to Norwood we stopped by a parcel of land at the end of Vanderbilt ave owned by the town and designated for recreation (90 acres).His plan going forward is to speak with town officials and possibly setup a walk thru of the land.I will keep you posted.

Will update when I get more info,one thing he did say is possibly at town day we could setup a tent about 15,000 people attend.

Norwood Day is September 13th. The website says there is a waitlist for vendors because all the spots have been taken. Did DG make the cut? I'm around that weekend and could assist if there is a table.
