Tully Weds Handicap League 2014

Yup, I plan on running this again this year. Starting Wednesday April 16th....that's the first Wednesday after the River Rat Race, so the water should be back down to a playable level by then.

Also, I've made a new Facebook Group page for Tully.

I've been really busy at work this year, so I haven't had time to really go over and tweak anything. Therefore, it's pretty much going to be the same as last year. The only small modification, is that I'm taking $5.00 from the CTP money to go to the low raw (actual) score of the day. Last year, not often, but there were a few times that the low score of the night didn't win their entry fee back once the handicaps were figured in. This way that doesn't happen again.

Here's the breakdown of the $5.00 entry fee:
$2.00 - Weekly payout
$1.00 - Season ending payouts
$1.00 - Ace Pot
$1.00 - Daily CTP and/or Skills Challenge

24 weeks starting April 16th at 5pm and moving later as daylight allows. You only need to play 12 of the 24 weeks possible to qualify for the season end payout.

Well...first night of league is tonight. I was hoping for 75 degrees and sunny, but will settle for the 40 degrees and no rain. Anyone know what the water level looks like? Meet at 5pm, and plan on a 5:15 start.

- Water level was high, so we played Alternate 1, in place of hole 3...and a slightly shortened hole 4.
- Low Scores were 59's by Myself and Mike Doyle.
- Mike Doyle & Ryan P. took the CTP's worth $7.00 each on holes 7 and 17.

That was a cold start for league, I'm looking forward to shorts and tshirt weather...hopefully next week.

Also, say goodbye to Mike Doyle (our most improved player from last season, and the big money winner last night)...it was one and done for him since he's moving to Texas.

- Marky is the big winner with both the low raw score of 55, and the low handicap adjusted score.
- CTP's worth $6 & $5, were won by Al Leighton (hole 3), and Paul Schueller (hole 10).
- The water is finally down to the proper level, we just need some warmer weather.

What a bunch of troopers! We had 14 people tough it out, in a cold steady rain.

- Ryan Pasakinskas takes down 1st place, by being one of only 2 people to shoot below their current average in the rain.
- Dave Richardson takes low score for the night, plus the CTP, PLUS 3rd place cash! Not bad for his 1st night at league this year.

There are a few downed trees that should be taken care of too. But the trash is more important. Troy I have a bunch of CTP flags you can have. The challenge is me remembering to bring them AND give them to you.

- 22 Players (5 new)
- People that played in the rain last week definitely had the advantage this week, with Sam Clark taking the win by shooting 9 shots better than the week before.
- Adam Whitten shoots low score of the night with a 53.
- Brad Parsons (hole 5), and Jared Aldrich (hole 12) got the CTP's worth $9.00 and $8.00 respectively.
