Explore Disc Golf sends out a monthly newsletter. We have about 700 people on our mailing list and since we don't post on the forums much, we thought we would start a thread to post our newsletters for those in NEFA world that are interested in keeping up with what we're doing.
Our monthly newsletters cover everything that's going on at the time --- from updates on current course designs and new contracts, to appearances up and down the east coast and midwest by The Mobile Disc Golf Experience, conferences we are speaking at, or "pocket course" donations from The Explore Disc Golf Foundation.
We send out the newsletters on the Third Thursday of every month at 9:00am. I'm not sure of the interest in these on this forum, but it's worth posting once a month since it is disc golf related

Below is a link to the December newsletter that went out yesterday, and we have included November's as well. We will post again in this thread on January 15th for the next newsletter.

The night flight disc golf experience looks pretty cool. Do you have any more planned for this year?

Nothing confirmed and contracted yet, Mike. That being said, we have hold dates for June in Michigan and August in Pennsylvania. We are also going over budget analysis with a tournament in Texas, but nothing firm yet.
Stay tuned.

Sounds good, Chris. Looking forward to it! Both Will and should be there for this one.
They contracted us for 3 holes, and 3 portable "putt putt" baskets as space is pretty limited in the park. Excited to be part of this event. Come say hi, and bring your daughter over to play some disc golf

Our
November newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our latest newsletter takes a look at a corporate event in Connecticut we were contracted to bring 9 holes of The Mobile Disc Golf Experience to in late October. The leadership team of the business, from all over the world, played disc golf for two hours --- all of them first timers! Everyone had so much fun, and we look forward to returning here next year for their conference again. We also created our first island hole (temporary; for EDG employees only to use) of which you can see pictures of in this newsletter or on our Facebook page. We are very pleased to being consitently booked for more and more corporate outings, as disc golf is a wonderful team building activity!

Our
December Year In Review newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our latest newsletter takes a look at Explore Disc Golf's Year in Review. All told, 2015 was a very strong year for our firm --- designing 8 permanent courses, landing contracts at multiple State Parks, and seeing our Rental Program and The Mobile Disc Golf Experience contracted by multiple large corporations for a variety of events. We have half a dozen pending course design contracts (in Maine, Eastern Mass, New York, Vermont and Maryland) and hope to begin work on them in 2016. We've even begun discussions with hiring on another full-time Course Designer to our firm. Looking forward to meeting with potential candidates over the winter and seeing if we can secure that position by summer.

Our
January newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our latest newsletter takes a look at the permanent course signage at UMass Amherst, as well as Consultation services and Innova sponsorship. After 3 years, UMass Amherst officials have finally given the green light for permanent course signage! We have begun hand rendering tee signs and the course map, and should see the signs up on the course later this spring. This newsletter also provides updates on multiple Consultations that we held over the winter months, as well as being sponsored by Innova Disc Golf for the 4th year in a row. It's such a blessing to be asked back to the Ambassador Team, and to work with the best in the game!

Our
February newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our latest newsletter provides winter updates. We have been very busy conducting Consultations and Feasibility Studies all winter long, and are just coming off a site visit to a 150-acre parcel in Eastern Mass. Hope to see disc golf happening there in the next year or two. We were also on Mass Appeal the other day to promote The Mobile Disc Golf Experience at Amherst Winterfest (which is Saturday, February 20th). They asked us to come back in the spring to do a showcase at a local course in the Valley, too. Lastly, we featured our in-house signage division, which is really ramping up! While we make signs for all Explore Disc Golf courses, we have been continually contracted by courses up and down the East Coast to provide them with fresh new signage. Need signage for your course? Contact us!

Our
March newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our latest newsletter takes a look at the progress we are making o our back 9 design of Thacher State Park in Vorheesville, NY. The front 9 of the course went in early 2015, and our firm provided Innova DISCatcher Pro baskets. After speaking with the Park Manager, we were later contracted for the design of the back 9. Working within the confines of the Park Master Plan, the course is a juxtaposition from the more beginner-friendly front 9. Basket for the back 9 have landed, and the course is scheduled to open in May 2016. Our newsletter also touches on our in-house signage division. If your course needs signage, please do contact us for signage specifications and pricing. We create full color signage on aluminum blanks for both Explore Disc Golf course designs, as well as existing courses that just need a tune up!

Hope the front 9 gets redesigned too. Aside from the safety hazards, it completely lacks flow and balance. Gorgeous land to work with. Look forward to checking out the back nine!

Little late here, as we missed posting last months newsletter...
Our
April newsletter from Explore Disc Golf went out this morning!
Our April newsletter touches on our ongoing Consultation services, and the start of The Mobile Disc Golf Experience 2016 summer tour. We have spent a lot of time this spring bouncing all over the Northeast conducting Consultations. Our latest one took us to multiple sites in southwestern Connecticut, where the recreation department is very interested in bringing an 18-hole course to town. This newsletter also touches on our latest appearance by The Mobile Disc Golf Experience at Rock N Roll Resort back in late March. We setup 9 holes on the traditional golf course for the 4th straight year, and was well received by all. We're now gearing up for our next appearance at Vermont Kids Day in Burlington, VT in early May.
