Ecker Hill Open - Vernon, CT ~ PDGA C-Tier ~ 10/10/15

We have gotten approval to run a PDGA C-Tier at Ecker Hill Disc Golf Course in Vernon, Connecticut on October 10, 2015.

Registration will be through The Disc Golf Scene and is now live.

We have been asked to reserve some Pro spots so there will be 20 spots held until September 1 for the Pro divisions. If they do not fill, we will open them up to everyone.

All of the Tee Boxes will be done before the tourney. Most likely Tee signs also.

Hole sponsors and CTP donations are always appreciated. Sponsor a hole for just $10!

We have confirmed that Marco Polos will be handling food and will be there day of to take lunch orders.

Trophies will be awarded to divisions of 3 or more.

We have put together some player's packs for all non-pro divisions. $10 of each entry will go towards player's packs. They will consist of a Vibram boot coaster mini, custom towel, and custom lil Wizards. The remainder will be paid out in funny money (minus fees).

We are up to 44 registered. Online reg is closed so plan on signing up morning of if you want to play.

Check in is from 7:30AM-8:30AM, player's meeting at 8:45 and a start time of 9AM. See you all in the morning!

The 1st Ecker Hill Open is in the wraps!

RESULTS

Thanks again to Jasin Bayer, Clayton Davidson, and Co. for all the hard work that has been done over the past 11 months. For a course that has been in the ground for less than a year, you guys have done an amazing job. All the tee boxes are complete, and as of this past week, all of the tee signs are in, and with rumors of some expansion in the future, this place can only get better.

A special thanks goes out to the Mayor of Vernon, Daniel Champagne, as well as the head of Parks and Rec., Bruce Dinnie. These guys have been huge advocates for getting Ecker Hill DGC in the ground, and are already looking towards the future. It is awesome to see such strong support from the local government.

We had a massive list of hole sponsors for this event that allowed us to payout 100% of entry fees (minus players packs).
