Every Wednesday Starting April 12, 2017 @ 4:45 (Time will move up as daylight allows), and league will run for 24 weeks ending on September 20th.
There will also be an Oktoberfest tournament/players party (tentatively set for Sunday, October 8th…although the date is subject to change). I’ll confirm the date & time as we get closer to it. This will be an invitational event for all Tully Bag-Tag holders.
This is going to be a Bag-Tag league, and the money generated from the sale of tags will go towards an end of the year Oktoberfest party/tournament.
Fees:
Bag-Tag - $20.00 (one-time purchase for the season…unless you happen to lose your tag).
A-Pool (Pro / Advanced):
$6.00 Entry (+$2.00 non-tag holders)
- $4.00 to weekly payout (Paying out top 25% of the field)
- $1.00 to Ace Pot
- $1.00 to Season/Oktoberfest fund
B-Pool (Intermediate / Beginner):
$5.00 Weekly Entry (+$2.00 non-tag holders)
- $2.00 to weekly payout (Paying out top 30% of the field)
- $1.00 to Ace Pot
- $1.00 to CTP (Closest To Pin prize)
- $1.00 to Season/Oktoberfest.
For the season long competition, players will earn points based on their finishing position each week as well as attendance and Aces. B-Pool players will also earn bonus points for winning CTP’s.
Points will accumulate as follows:
1st place – 4
2nd Place – 3
3rd Place – 2
Ace – 3
CTP – 1
Attendance – 1
We will do season payouts for at least the top 3 in each pool… this may increase depending on how many players we get over the course of the year.
Players choosing to move up from the B-Pool to the A-Pool mid-season will take all attendance points, plus between 20% and 50% of any other points accumulated based on the number of weeks played/remaining. The earlier you make the switch, the more points you’ll be able to take with you.
Other Notes:
Play will generally follow PDGA rules (relaxed somewhat for speed of play). Things like flipping discs to mark your lie are fine. This is meant to be a relaxed fun league.
- At the end of the night there will be a clipboard with a score sheet at the Kiosk for writing down scores, turn in the score card and make sure your score is written on the score sheet.
