Ben & Jerry's Hyannis Charity Disc Tournament

Hey Folks!

Ben & Jerry’s of Hyannis is hosting their 4th annual Doubles Charity Disc Tourney on Saturday, Sept. 23rd. It will take place at Burgess Park in Marston’s Mills on Cape Cod. All proceeds will go to benefit a local non-profit Luke Vincent Powers Foundation. Esablished in 2003 with the mission of providing opportunities for disadvantaged children by funding programs that support, protect and establish hope in their lives. In August 2010, they helped make “Luke’s Love Boundless Playground” a reality in Marstons Mills. Luke’s Love playground includes ramps, safety surface, quiet spaces, music station, and interactive play boards. A place where all kids can be kids.

This tourney will have two divisions, PRO and AM with trophy prizes for first and second place. All players must pay a $20 donation fee to play in the tourney. This $20 will get you free lunch, a custom one-of-a-kind Ben & Jerry’s disc, free event t-shirt, and a Ben & Jerry’s coupon! Please pay in cash or check - checks made out to “Ben & Jerry’s”. This is an all day event starting with registration/check starting at 8:30am, start is at 9:30am, and we expect to be wrapping it up between 3 and 4pm. We are accepting early registration forms for those traveling from off Cape, email capecone.dock@gmail.com for a form.

This is a family friendly fun event so bring your families and friends. There will be side games starting at noon for non-players, crafts, face painting, raffles & FREE Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!

Directions to the Park: On Cape Cod, take Exit 5 off Route 6 to Rte. 149 south, about 3 miles on right, past ball golf course then perhaps 1 mile after rotary, turn right into park past Burgess House.
