It was quite the sight at Cranbury Park in Norwalk yesterday afternoon...On one side of the big field was a group of six guys playing DDC(double Disc Court). Adjacent to them was a group of twenty plus coeds involved in an intense game of Ultimate. Then, all of a sudden the Ultimate game is put on hold. One team, who is waiting in the endzone, moves a little off to the side. A quick glance to see whats got their attention, and what do you know? Another group of disc enthusiasts are on the tee of the Disc Golf course hole #19. The group throws out four drives and then the Ultimate game resumes. Disc sports is on the rise here in Southern CT, and you only have to take a look at Cranbury park on a weeknight to see it first hand.
