I got work tomorrow, but I'll be out 4ish. Think you might still be around then? I live literally 3 minutes down the road. (Thank God)

Thanks for all the input.
After reading a few yahoo posts on handicaps I decided to use the following formula.
Score-par (In Wicks case 58)x.8= handicap
Usually there are 3 scores collected before determining the players handicap. However, I did not want to play for 3 weeks to do this. The scores from this past Tue. will be used in the above formula. For all new players I will determine an initial handicap for the first week. From that point on the course will determine the players adjusted score.
I believe the scores will settle after a few weeks and the field will be open for all players to have a chance at the cash.
I have also set up payouts for 2 to 27 players. This will be increased if needed.
If this weeks scores were adjusted by handicaps, Jesse would have tied Chip for 1st causing a playoff and there would of been a log jam for the last place cash. The players with the higher handicaps would not have cashed. But their scores would of been closer to the rest of the field.
Some players decided against adding cash to the pot because they would have been donating to the top players. With the handicaps in place there would of been a chance to win by all and a larger payout.
I'm sure there are going to be some growing pains early on, but in the long run I think the better players will win their share of the cash.
On another note, Tags are and will always be straight score. The handicap system is only for the cash

ps I'm not sure what the closing time of the park is for the begining of the season. We started close to 5:00, and finished just at dark (with 16 players) If the gate are closing before 8:00, we should park at Marco's and start at hole 8. We can move to hole one once the gates stay open later.
