Lost a red Champion Teebird off into the water on 16. Just over the bushes to the left down by the pin. I'd be totally lost if Huklab didnt just remake that disc. Phew!

hole #8 ,jack o lantern star destroyer. The sad thing is we were shoveling the boxes off today when it happened. So much for karma.

hey steve, thanks for shoveling off most of the front nine. Well done.
I cleared off tee pad #s 13-18 for standstill drives.
Didn't see a lost disc today -- sorry.

Found Streeter's Disc. Please define "parked".
I will bring it to the Buff Ice Bowl.

Its ok, Drew. I "parked" my teebird on 16 as well and lost it. Parked 30 feet left of the pin in the water, but parked nonetheless!!

by Matt DeAngelis
Yeah, I think parked should be reserved for shots that rest within 10 ft of the basket.

So you're saying my shot on hole 1 at Maple Hill that landed in the middle of the pond isn't parked?!!

Posted: Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:25 pm
by STREETER821
Actually parked is defined as "at rest."
I believe the runner was somewhere by the clumps of trees . Where it kicked, rolled, or even if wasn't even close to the basket, those chains are getting smashed at Tourney 54. Thanks Steve for finding my disc, very much appreciated.
Murph, I am sorry to hear that you can't clear the pond from the amatuer tee, PU -

Defining "parked" as being within ten feet should definitely be the limit because 11 feet is just too far away.
Shouldn't "parked" be different from player to player, and based on what an individual can consistently "putt out" from? If you consistently canned 20 footers, then wouldn't anything within 20 feet be parked for you? Not to say I never miss a 20 footer, all the time!

Steve, if that beast is orange and you found it on 16 fairway or around 17 teebox, we lost it sunday morning.

Found a disc on hole 11 yesterday, looks like someone had just left it there. Has RGB and TomaHAWK on the back. Describe the disc and it's yours.

Found what looks like a Champion SL X-out out on the course today. Just has the names Rob Kyle on the back. So if Rob and/or Kyle is out there, let me know. I've got your disc.
Found a bunch of others today. PM'ed the ones on this forum and called the rest. So if you see "You have 1 new message" then LUCKY YOU!

Yesterday I had a wraith in the middle of the small pond on hole #6. I put on some sandals, and walked in a few feet. I was able tho reach it with a long stick. There were 2 other discs right next to mine so I flipped those out too.
#1 Green XL / B-Foley
#2 Blue Shark / Ceminsk
Lost and found is really tough there so I have them. Contact me here. I didn't want to just leave them out by the shore line.

Steve Langner, I found a disc of yours today. Not sure what it is, but it's an innova champion driver with hand drawn flames on it.
(I dropped off this disc at the pool store in Oxford today).

I think Steve is the fisherman who has been pulling discs out of the lake there. Not sure of his last name though. If you drop it off at the pool store I will get it to him.
FYI- large hand drawn pics can sometimes be used to cover someone elses name, we won't keep them in the lost and found unless I know the person myself.

Ok, yeah I was planning on dropping it there sometime this week.

Okay ... I thought I'd just list the discs I can remember losing at West Thompson Lake:
Instep Mercury putter (red) (around hole 8 I think, early summer '07)
Orange Innova Cobra (hole 12, tall grass early 07)
Red DX Valkryie (hole 16 water spring 2008)
Yellow Sidewinder (hole 16 water fall 07/winter 2008)
Blue Star Wraith (hole 15 or 17 early 2007)
Tye Dye Wizard Putter (fall 07 ... left it sitting in 18 basket)
...
There's more, just can't remember anymore. In the past year I've lost about ten discs between here & Buffumville. I didn't say I was good at this.

My wife threw a shark into the little pond the other day.
Wouldn't mind getting it back if someone found it because it was a weird color. Grey with a pink rim star plastic.
We raked the pond today but couldn't find it.
lost again

Newly lost at WTL:
Yellow Dragon w/red stamp (hole 4 in the longer grass to the right of the middle rough)
Blue Instep Pluto driver (in pond hole 6)
QJLS (in pond, hole 6)
These belong to my kids and to my brother, but I'm sure I can be trusted.
Red Valkyrie (in lake, hole 16)
~~~
Someone posted that they found a yellow sidewinder in the water at hole 16, which describes my lost disc exactly ... but they posted that in the Barre Falls thread!!!
To cap off a perfectly horrible game yesterday evening, I left my Orange Wildcat right on the fairway for #18, I'm pretty sure.
I am naming hole 6 pong the Bermuda triangle! No matter where the disc hits in there it disappears. I went 3 feet in and couldn't find my Rogue even trying to Rake it out.
I actually seen a guy with his shirt off in that stink hole. Hate to tell him it is loaded with leeches.
