We just got the go ahead to fix the muddy tee pads, and add 6 new holes for the full 18. They are letting me bring my equipment down (dump truck, excavator, and chipper). This is going to finally be a top notch course! All it takes is enough people bitching and complaining. Complain some more and we might get 27!! :D

Good news. When are the new holes expected to be ready, in the spring?

We are doing tee pads tomorrow before the kids get back to school. The new holes will be done before winter (hopefully).

awesome. I remember trying to push for this a few years ago.
Johnny, see if you can get the "par 4s" made into par 3s like they should be.

I am not in charge as far as the course design goes. I am just a laborer. The man to talk to is Eamon Oshea the original designer. The basic design principle I got from him is that it is for the students, not the freaks like us. Hopefully they will let us put the new holes down by the pond. One of the shots would be like Maple Hills #1. It's all up to the dean of students at this point. If this is allowed to happen it would be an amazing addition. :D

The new holes are ready. Baskets are in! They play tight and nasty. A nice change from the open woods and field holes of the previous 12. The new holes start across the street near the ski jumps. Follow the old dirt road down and on your left is the first tee. All holes have good elevation changes and extremely hard pin placements. I took a 5 on one today. Unfortunately the work we did on the tee pads is already f$#@! up from the heavy traffic. They need to let us install rubber or crete. Dont hold your breath on that. Go check it out.
