First time out

Post by Johnny La La »

My buddy and I played the course for the first time on Sunday the 23rd. All I can say is WOW!! You guys designed and built one hell of a course. I had heard about it at Rindge, and had to check it out. It is like Rindge on steroids! Great layout with nasty elevation changes. Weather was perfect and we actually played okay (for the first time on the course). Me (61,57,60,62) and my buddy (60,58,62,57). The only down side was that we had to schlep all of our stuff (cooler, change of clothes, etc.) down to the first tee. But I can see this course becoming one of my favorites. Kudos to all who brought it to fruition.

Scotts line was Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy... when berating a reporter after a 49-45 win against TTU, and how she had earlier written a story about his QB being soft, and emotional and basically putting him down, that's what he was screaming during the presser.. quite funny, and good for him, his player did not deserve what the reporter wrote.

True. His tirade was pretty entertaining to watch and seemed fairly justified IMO....I love it when the press gets a healthy dose of their own medicine

Uh oh, what did I get myself into? I'm going to need a slang dictionary to communicate with my teammates.

Shouldn't that be "Devens is the Hillzizzle fo' shizzle"?

Hillizizzle John
No dictionary needed, we are bilingual.
Our match is right now tentatively scheduled for October 6th against NASA. I will send emails to all team members tonight to finalize availability. We should have at least 6 and possibly more
