Who has been sick lately?

Post by Joe Yaskis »

Who has been sick this year and how did you cure your cold? Every FN muscle in my body kills and my head feels like it is going to explode.

I threw up 2x this morning and have not left my couch all day. Any suggestions, or miracle cures? I have taken Robitussin and Tylenol cold head congestion severe.

Zycam when you first feel it coming on really helps to get over it faster. I got quite the head cold for a week or so earlier in the year, not fun fo sho

i have a trick that usually makes me feel like I turned the corner on the cold the next day. right before bed, I take a multivitamin, drink about a half gallon of oj, 2 old school sudafed (the stuff that you have to ask the pharmacist for. not the 12 hour or 24 hour) and 600mg of ibuprofin, and go to bed early.

I think it is the flu. I feel better today, but no where near 100%. I will try some of those suggestions.

I also had to take Immodiam AD for the [bleep]. That product is the only one I know that can take care of a leaky pipe instantly.

Definitely the flu, Joe. Try 2 packets of EmergenC and a full dropper of super ecinacea tincture every 12 hours. You can get this at any health food store. Also, get some Coldeez (homeopathic zinc) to suck on. Zinc works wonders. I'm really not into all this natural/homeopathic stuff, but it really works. Having a kid in daycare who brings home just about anything and everything, its all about defense.

I've always been a firm believer in the "Sweat it Out" method: Put on as many layers as you can, drink about a 1/4 bottle of Nyquil, bundle up with a warm blanket, when you wake up from the coma you're totally covered in sweat, but it always makes me feel better.

Just tried that today. We'll see how it pans out. The stuff cost 12 bucks so it better be worth it.

It worked well for me so hopefully you will reap its benefits as well. I would say though that you should take it in conjunction with a sudafed or something like that because the Zycam is more of a help you get better quicker, not help you feel immediately better.

1 tbs of raw apple cider vinegar (Braggs)

a pinch of chayenne pepper or as much as you can handle. The more the better.

squirt of honey if you need it.

Little bit of H2O to make a full shot glass.

Shoot it and follow with water. Do not attempt on empty stomach!

I have not been sick in 3 years. I used to get 4 or 5 colds a year.

I have been sick for a week and a half. Sick enough that I didn't even want a beer after work. Well, I got sick of that, so I got into the Wachusett Black Shack Porter quite a bit yesterday. Lo and behold, I feel great today. No joke.

Who has been sick lately? I've been dope sick. Cops have cracked down on dealers around here so much I can't get any good smack. Bought some brown stuff and it made me puke. There is no good "H" in Westchester anymore.
