Mt. Kisco's Leonard Park Course

Post by S sjfoop »

Ice bowl is next weekend. I'll be there this weekend for some maintenance and practice. It's looking chilly but sunny and dry. Assistance would be welcomed.

I'm debating going to the Gaw on Sunday so I'll likely be there tomorrow around noon. The ground is too frozen to do significant work so it'll probably be light clean up and a round or two

I have no idea who Gregg Kurtz is and I'm not sure who Sarge is either but there is no gate or anyone to stop you. Mr. Kurtz is welcome to help out too if he'd like :)

why greggie k is the main man (or one of them) up north ravina ny way (j park)...i thought it a bit odd (but not surprizing) that he would travel all the way down to kisco to tidy up.
Anyway fully support/appreciate your efforts to better kisco, will still try and get over there but i hear there is a tree down on the 7th hole at cranbury so i may head over there w a bow saw tomorrow. :D :salut:
thanks gregg

Matt, Gregg is THE Kisco dude and has played Cranbury doubles many times. He has done a ton of work at Waveny.

Gregg, I can help Sunday if you don't go to Campgaw.
Also, Greg Kurtz is an old master like Matt and myself.

Someone stole basket 20 at Kisco earlier this week. This wasn't going to be used for the ice bowl but it still sucks. Keep your eyes peeled for one of the oldest crappiest baskets in all of the northeast.

p.s. it's not in smolin's bag. I already checked.

Thanks to Bill Newman there are ice bowl signs throughout the course indicating the layout of the tournament. It should be easy enough to figure out without a guide if you can find hole 1.

Are the new baskets in? Did all 18 get replaced or just some of them?

Hey, I lost an orange champion sidewinder on hole 7. It didn't go too far before it kicked pretty good left. I couldn't find the lost and found for Kisco so posting it here. Also, the course is looking great with the new pads and baskets!! :thumleft: Good Work!
