Need a new bag
Couldn't find the old thread but oh well.
Have a PDGA Tour bag which has a broken back zipper and the grommets for the quad shocks finally let go. So I'm in need of a longer lasting bag. This one lasted about a year and a half.
Recommendations.............GO!

Revolution Pro Bag.
That's all you need to know.
I had the Carolina Team Bag, too big in my opinion, so I sold it, bought the mini which I love for my home course, (Burgess) and casual rounds... and also now have the pro, which holds about 14 discs within, but the side pockets are big enough for discs, so if you want, you can carry up to 16-18...

Why don't you just get it re-stitched.
I bring my bag in for restitching usually every spring. It costs me like $8 and my bag is now on it's 4th year.

I did think of that. But overall I'm not terribly satisfied with the bag. The bottom is starting to wear out as well and the velcro lining the inside for the accordian sleeves are completely gone.
Anyone have comments on the Innova Disccarrier?

disc carrier looks retardedly huge. the competion bag or whatever its called is nice but still a little big. and could use another pocket maybe. and it is a hard squeeze to put 32oz bottles in the holders.
www.gorilla-boy.com i read good things about these. the silverback looks awesome. take one for the team and be the first local guy with a gorilla bag.

I have heard nothing but good things about these bags, mostly on DGR (Disc Golf Review) where they are a very hot item.
I may invest in one..

My wife is in the process of modifying a Jansport Odyssey daypack into a golf bag for me. We bought a Revolution Roll Cage online, it fits perfectly.
It will be very similar to a Revolution Dual Pack when it is finished. The icing on the cake however is the camelback compartment. Water bottles?...psha.
I'm gonna post pics of this work in progress sometime soon.

Ill back up solbo here and say that you should check out disc golf review and see how much they rave about the gboy bags. There are numerous threads comparing bags there too, just use the search button and you will be amazed.
I love my innova bag, i know im the only one, but other than that id go with the gboy bags or a revo from the word ive heard.

A bit late on the response here, but I'm getting good results from a gun sack I got at Wal-Mart for six bucks.
It's got lots of compartments. I carry around 8 discs, and the bag is about 1/2 filled.

Where do you get it restitched? I've heard mumbles about shoe repair shops being capable of performing heavy duty stuff like that.

Ok...review of the Gorilla Boy Silverback bag:
The bag is a mid-sized very durable bag with an internal frame (pvc pipe and divider). Holds 15-16 discs plus a putter pocket. There is an additional disc storage pocket behind the putter spot. The top comes across the discs and velcros below the mini pouch to cover the putters as well.
Two insulated cup holders, two decently large pouches on either side, an umbrella holder on the front away from your back.
The back is padded as well and there is no shortage of eye-loops for your quadshocks, towel, or anything else you want to hang off of it.
LIGHT! I cannot even believe how light this bag is. I could barely feel it while I was fighting the wind at WT.
I got it in custom camo which looks real good. Everyone seemed to think so as well. It looked pretty good when I was in my dress too!
The short use review is very positive and I expect this bag to last a long time. It gets the Cheef Recommendation!

Bought myself two birthday presents this morning:
a revolution dual pack in navy blue... after checking out all the ones present at wickham on sunday, I figured I'd join the herd mentality. my revo carolina is going on 4-5 full seasons, plus more 30 business trips over that same time frame. still in great shape, with some wear and tear at the corners of the bottom. everything was still in great shape, quadshocks as well. I'm still holding onto this bag for time being though.
the other gift was a revo mini bag for casual rounds with just a handful of plastic, rounds where i want to throw just one type of mold and don't want to carry a half-empty big bag, or super hot or cold days where carrying a big bag is an inconvenience.

A bunch of people at Buff and Thompson have been asking me about my new bag.
http://www.gorilla-boy.com/
Thats the website and I highly recommend checking it out. Everyone keeps saying its either gonna be a Rev backpack or one of these. I've never used a Rev, but I'll tell you that my Silverback is hardcore.
