Courses near Kennebunkport, Maine

Post by Jeff Levin »

I am heading to Maine next week, and would love to get in a round or 2 if there are any courses that are pretty close to Kennebunkport. Is there anything thaty is less than an hour drive from there?

Thanks in advance.

Theres a few in Southern Maine area. not sure how far from Kennebunkport it is, you will have to google map it or something. Try Gorham (BAP), Saco (Boom Field) , Limerick (Woodland Valley).
if you go to www.Mainediscgolfers.com there is a course guide there with the addresses to these places.. Check it out!

Cool...thanks. It looks like Boom Field, Pleasant Hill, and Bennett Disc Farm are all pretty close to where I'll be. Are any of these "must play" courses, as I will probably only get to play one of them.

There is league Night at Boom Field on Tuesday evenings and League at Gorham at 5:30 on Thursdays. All are welcome

Thanks Christie...I got out to Bennett twice last week. Shot a 65 on the red course the first day there and called it quits, it was like 90 degrees that day. I headed back out a couple days later and played both layouts...I shot a 59 on the gold, and a 64 on the red.

What a beautiful golf course! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I heard there was a course going in K-port soon. 9-holer.

Anyone have any info on this?

Eric,

It's an extremely short 9-hole course for the consolidated school.
