I learned to play disc golf there years ago. I heard it has changed owners and is in need of some work/maintenence. It used to be private, you could only play there is a 'member' brought you to the course. You were a member if the owner liked you and you didn't leave still burning butts in the woods.
Its a wooded course, with only a few long holes.
I'm interested to hear if anyone has been there recently.

Any updates on this course? Is it still around? Staying in the ellsworth area and was wondering if it was worth checking out.

We played this course a few years ago when we went up to Acadia and I can say that it is one of the worst courses Ive played. There was long grass everywhere, little signage, and just an overall feeling of strangeness abound. Given that it was the only course in the area at the time it was OK but certainly not something I would go out of my way to play again

I was there 2 years ago and it can be hit or miss are far as up keep. The first time i went there 3 years ago it was terrible. The next year i went it was pretty good, mowed and in decent shape. Its now pay to play there, but worth it cause there is no other courses. It can be a fun course if its mowed.

anyone have an update on how this course is playing nowadays? Older reviews arent very positive but were from 6 years ago.

I'll be in Bar Harbor all next week and would love to play this course if its worthwhile.
