Phish tickets

Post by Becky Sonnheim »

Did anyone do the Phish lottery? Did you get tickets? I was able to get 4 tickets to Camden in the pavillion. Section 202 baby! I don't get to sit on the lawn with all the youngsters...yes!!!!!

that's awesome Becky!

My lottery attempts were thwarted

I hate trying to get tix when they go on sale to the public.

Who's got my extra to Great Woods?

I was also rejected on phish tix for great woods. I am thinking about going to the venue saturday am to try to buy tix there and then head over to Bland after for a round.

I would say your best bet is to go to the venue itself. You and everyone else will be trying to get tickets online.

I really didn't think that I got tickets, but when I woke up Sunday morning I got the best email a girl could get when she wakes up. Now who am I going to take is the ????

I hear Great Woods is a really nice venue. I'm sure it is similar to Camden. Pavillion with seats and then a huge lawn.

i will be up to mass for buff ice bowl. we can start the bidding there if you want?

I was denied through the lottery and both Live Nation attempts. Live Nation blows big time. Talk about a major failure on their system. I hate to say it but it made me miss Tixbastard. Fortunately a friend pulled an extra Great Woods for me. If any one has any extra Jones Beach I am still trying to get one for each night. Also looking for any tapers tix if some one had one to trade for a regular seat.

The one thing cool about Camden is sitting on the lawn and watching that bridge in the right frame of mind. The traffic and parking scenario though blows. Never mind the neighborhoods around there. Don't forget to grab a steak & cheese at 2 am from Pat's or Gino's though.

I was continuously shut out through Live Nation as well and when I finally got through, I was unable to get multiple tickets. Fortunately I was able to score 1 for myself for the Mansfield show!

I just found out on Friday that ticketmaster has a scalping website called ticketnow. they were selling lawn seats for $120!

BTW I can see two bridges including the one you are referencing above from my deck in Philly. It is a cool bridge with all the lights lit up at night.

I noticed too that each time a train would go either direction on it that a light pattern would follow the train across.

I went over to great woods around 8:45 am and they were giving out tickets to get in line. 9:00 they randomly pulled out of a box the starting #, I was 220th in line and there was only 1 ticket window open.

I went back to the car and at about 9:45 AM, I called Live nation and a few minutes later, the lady came on and I trid to dilly-dally with her asking for phish tix that were sold the day before. I then asked for great woods tix and she was like they dont go on sale until 10:00 AM. I then pretty pleased her and asked her if she could just put me back into the line so I would not have to call back and fight thru everybody else. She complied and then I sat on the phone until about 10:10 listening to jailhouse rock over and over until somebody else picked up. 5 minutes later, I had ordered 4 tix in Section 8 while I was sitting in my car 50 yards away from the box office.

Very true. The Dead are playing a the Spectrum, one of the last shows in that venue before they blow it up.

$250 for 4 tix is not bad at all. I payed $230 for 4 tix through the lottery.

Any of you guys playing Buff IB this month?

I think they threw down every time they played Philly. Trey loves the Spectrum. I remember seeing him come out once or twice with his Flyers jersey on. I miss those fall/winter runs hitting Philly, Albany, Binghamton, Providence, etc... You could see a ton of shows in a few weeks without taking off much work and by driving no more than 4 hours in any direction from Worcester, MA. And you could actually get tix pretty easily then.

That December 1995 Phish run was incredible. I remember going to New Haven, Lake Placid 2 shows, Providence, Amherst, Albany, 2 shows in worcester and 2 incredible shows at MSG NYE and the night before. The NYE show @ MSG Phish made into a CD a few years back.

I too was a the 95 show and I believe it was a John LeClair jersey.

I am staying retired, unlike the band.

I am staying retired as well. 50+ Shows as well. Too much money, security hassles etc, and consistency of good shows. Not worth the experience anymore.

I'm still psyched that they are playing- looking forward to the setlists etc.

Just heard they are playing Bonnaroo.

Hopefully Trey will stay clean.

Just stumbled onto this site,

http://phishthoughts.com/nospoilers/

Sounds like you'll be able to download the show pretty much right after its done. Cool.

I used to frequent early day Phish shows at Nectars when I lived in Burlington(late 80's) I saw their first real show at the Flynn Theater. They were such a great band to see back in those days.

Phish now= washed up, substance abusing, money grubbing scounderals.

No more live recordings? C'mon guys! The only reason they are touring again is because they can't hack it as solo musicians. They have run out of money and are ready to rip you off to pay for their lavish lifestyles.

You couldn't pay me to go to a show now.

Sorry for the negativity but, as a working musician I just don't see the logic.

I know. I'm sorry if I have offended. I have had personal problems with one of the members in the past.
