Courses along 90
In a couple weeks I'm headed to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio along with some friends. We're taking 90 most of the way(from West Springfield). I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for courses that are ~20 minutes off of 90. A few we are considering are Hyzer Creek, Black Diamond DGC @ Emery Park, and Beaver Island State Park. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hyzer is more than 20 min off I-90.........but worth it
Emery i hear is a must play.
Beaver Island, i pass by on the way back to Michigan and have never had the time to play.
Joralemon Park is only about 20 mins off 90 and well worth it. It might even convince you(and friends) that you wanna come back in July for the Jammer(see signature).
Oxbow Falls in Canastota, NY is a great course.

The other nice thing about Joralemon is that it is so simple to find your way around which is a factor for me when I'm playing a new course en route to someplace far away. It's also a state park so you could just plug that into a GPS without having to get directions to the course.

There's a few changes to the course that are not yet added to the "Hole Info" at DGCR.com......
- 12 & 13 are now one hole @ 551ft. A woods hole between 15(now #14) & 16 was added to keep it at 18 holes.
- When you finish 14, there's a trail to the right that leads to tee 15. On the way down that trail, keep looking left toward the field for the #15 pin(orange flag) cause it's hard to see from the tee.
- From 15's pin, go left on the trail to a new tee 16. The hole is longer now with both lefty & righty fairways. There's even a skinny go-for-broke line right up the middle.
I don't have revised hole lengths here @ work but the total course distance is up in the 5700 foot range.
