We are in the process of designing a 9 hole course in a park in Burlington, VT. We originally wanted 18 holes but have been limited to 9 holes due to the very vocal opposition by some of the park neighbors. The Parks Commission has asked us to secure the services of a course designer and we would like to bring one to Burlington to help us with the design. This will cost us some money. If you would like to donate to our club to help us get a good course designer to Burlington, please go to www.btowndisc.com and make a donation. Any amount will help. We have been working for almost a year now to get this course installed and would really appreciate your help.

Mary, I would have your club start looking at potential holes now. Look for good greens and ways to approach them. Remember you can have multiple tees for each hole.
I sure there are many people in NEFA land that have been involved in course design that would help you out.
Also, try and make contact with the courses close to you, they would be a great source on info.
I hope you get it in the ground soon, my daughter will be a senior at UVM this year and it would be great to be able to play a course in Burlington.
