are you seriously shooting 11 under with the wiimote w/MotionPlus? Are you using classic putting?

I think there should be some ground rules set here. Putting the "old" way, or with a normal controller, is 1000x easier than with MotionPlus/accurate putting setting. 8-)

Why would you intentionally wanna use the crappier controls?

more realism. I'm not playing to pretend I'm actually that good at golf... I was interested in the game BECAUSE motionplus would make the game more realistic and, in turn, harder.

I haven't used the motionplus yet, but I always HATED the regular motion controls on Wii.

Very inaccurate IMO and it turned me off from the console, so I would be more apt to use the motionplus and enjoy the games more.

disc golf scores dave, disc golf.

so far my best round of ball golf is -3 on wentworth, london classic.

for me, the issue is getting off the tee. i am pretty darn good on the green, which is the opposite of what i used to be.

Banff Springs is the easiest course I've played. I think I was -13 one round. That's not official, though...

-7 (66) at Fancourt.

Yeah, I know, not real impressive... However, I'm shooting all my rounds sitting down due to knee surgery on Thursday. Can only generate about 90% power on my drives.

So I just got this new Tiger Woods 2010 and played a round with my buddy as soon as we could. On Banff, we shot a -18 (me) and -13 (him) but we found out we were playing the whites half way through (while wondering why some holes were so short).

We had it on "Precision Putting" and we were sinking putts like it was our job. Is there something else I should be changing in the options menu to make this harder??? From what everyone else was saying, it sounds like it should've been more challenging.

On the whites at Banff I've shot -23. (Ball Golf)

Play the BLACKS.

For the precision putting, you were probably playing on easy greens (Banff) has easy ones.

Try a course like Oakmont. The greens there are ridiculous.

Shot -19 on TPC Scottsdale today, from the Blacks. Woo hoo! Against Ralphie, online. (Ball Golf)

PS, when playing people online, mysteriously, it says, "Network Connection Lost"... funny, seeing as I am still online, and winning by atleast 5 or 6 strokes. Bastards.

Just picked this up over the weekend, but have not had the chance to play it that much. Tried out the Ball Golf and Disc Golf, both of which are pretty realistic with the Wii Motion Plus.

Those who are posting scores for Ball Golf (BG), are you using your own made-up player or a selected pro? Tried both on the harder settings and it matches my real golf game closely...spraying the ball all over the place when using my created player. Just wondering how you all are playing....

Also, when posting your scores....designate BG or DG. I would like to know how I stack up for both.....understanding of course that the 1st thread scores are DG only.

Yup, this game just got a tad bit more difficult. When playing my buddy, we played with Super/Sunday Tiger on whites. So our stats were all 110% and were on the short tees. That's why it was so easy to go -18 in my 1st round.

When you create your own player and start a PGA tour season, you start on the blacks and can only drive ~250yd. Still was putting well, but I'm finding it hard to gauge my non-full swing approaches. Shot -7 on BethPage, and -6 on Sawgrass.
