I too have experienced this issue. I tried really hard to get them off, and then I remembered it's just a towel and will still dry perfectly fine even with the leaves on it. Now I just leave them on there and don't sweat it, there are more important things to focus on.

Tossing it in with the wash usually helps. Anything still stuck to it through the drying cycle usually falls off easier with a few towel whips. It does change how grabby the towel is after it's been washed a few times but I consider it a non-factor. Doesn't help much when you're on the course in the middle of a tourney but.....

I threw mine in the wash the other day and when it came out, it still had leaves on it!

It's a Towel...I don't sweat it at all. A few quick whips of the thing and they usually come off...I'm not too picky really. Remember you're tracking thru the woods, mud, water sometimes and everything else grimey, you're going to get some leaves and dirt on it.

I've had pieces of TP or PT that made it into the wash, probably from someones pants pocket, come out of the dryer firmly attached to the micro-towel and seemingly preserved........

Get a caribeaner and connect it to your belt loop as opposed to your bag

Use shop towels, they work as well and do not pick up anything.

I don't understand the issue. Do people care about being clean when they're golfing? I don't care if I get some leaves in my golf bag, and leaf particles never get stuck to my discs if I clean them with a microfiber towel that has stuff on it. Still dries the same to me, just a few good towel whips gets most stuff off and the rest isn't hurting anything. Maybe it's just me, I don't see the big deal.

Just think of it as the leaf version of a Cham-Wow. I can see Jason S. doing an info-mercial for them now: "Cleans your whole lawn in seconds!"

duct tape

Post by Dennis Parslow »

duct tape worked for my Pyramids towel and now I just keep it in the bag, and try not to let it hit the ground much.

Just lay a strip down and pull it apart. For a few stragglers I just pulled them off and then threw it in the wash.
