I compiled some shot statistics from the the latest HCC tourney. Hole 12 seems to have benefitted the most from its recent changes, going from a predominantly bogie hole to a fairly even spread. To my surprise, no hole in particular regularly gave up a lot of birdies. If there was any hole on the course that seemed to be more prone to birdies than any other, it was hole 11 (the hole that used to be prone to streams of cuss words). But even in that case, it didn't yield an unusual number of birdies, especially since this was a doubles tourney.
The hole that appeared to be the toughest for all players was the finishing hole. It was the only hole during the tourney to produce no birdies and repeated double bogies.
Here's a sampling of the results:
Round 1
HOLE 1 – 17 pars 6 birdies 2 bogies
HOLE 8 – 15 pars 9 birdies 1 bogie
HOLE 11 – 8 pars 12 birdies 5 bogies
HOLE 12 – 9 pars 8 birdies 8 bogies
HOLE 18 – 8 pars 14 bogies 3 double bogies
Round 2
HOLE 1 – 19 pars 5 birdies 1 bogie
HOLE 8 – 18 pars 4 birdies 3 bogies
HOLE 11 – 13 pars 9 birdies 3 bogies
HOLE 12 – 15 pars 6 birdies 4 bogies
HOLE 18 – 11 pars 13 bogies 1 double bogie
