So what's up with vibramdiscgolf.com?

Liking the Ridge so far. Way grippy, even covered in snow.

Just started throwing the Summit Friday, used a 172g in a team challenge match Saturday, and can't imagine not having this disc in my bag, especially for anny and hyzer flip drives and approaches! Thinking about testing and putting a <170g one in my bag as well. Didn't like the plastic at first, but loved it yesterday. Firm and grippy enough when wet/cold to get clean releases with, even approach flicks, which impressed me quite a bit.

I have a feeling the Ridge will be making the bag next as a replacement/go alongside my slightly beat soft challenger. Major difference in the shallower rim allows for cleaner releases. I'm sure I'd prefer a softer/more rubbery feel though.

I went out and started to throw the Trek today, interesting stuff. It seems to be more stable than my Ascent. I like the feel of it though. I have to get out there and rip it some more for a more detailed description.

Wasn't the Trek supposed to be stable to understable in order to compliment the Ascent?
I'm confused.
I'm more interested in that Ibex midrange, anyway. Can't wait for the testing on that.

The Trek was designed to be more understable than the Ascent. Initial testing is indicating that we missed the mark. Sometimes testing is good, eh?

As fairly new players with pretty good arms my sons and I tested the trek the other day and were confused why it would not do what it was supposed to do. I guess that is what testing is all about. We just assumed it was all set. We loved the feel but kept saying "this is frustrating, maybe its because its new and needs to get beat up",but duh its vibram, tough to beat up. I must say the new ascent does just what you want (350'-400' perfectly straight with slight fade at the end). Hopefully the trek will become less stable (we found it to be stable to very overstable at the end of its flight, 300'-350') cause I am leaning towards throwing my ascent every drive, but it would be great to not have to try so hard to roll it around that dogleg left. I'm lefty :) I believe there is one waiting at home, that my son was lucky enough to win through Vibram's contest. We can't wait to rip it some more next week. And we will definitely give more feedback.
Thanks for letting us throw it Steve. Look Foward to getting one in my bag someday. Maybe even matched up in color with my already matching ascent and ridge.

I'm sorry about (and glad to hear about) your frustration. I suppose it is good that the feedback we are getting is consistent. :drunken:
