One of my first discs was a T-Bone as I was intrigued by Quest's dimple technology. Just completing courses in school including Fluid Mechanics, I thought dimpled discs would (*warning, nerd term about to be used*) 'trip the boundary layer' of air and travel a mile, like a golf ball travelling further than a smooth ball of same size/weight. Turned out in those early days I could throw a Road Runner or Valk further, so the T-Bone soon became my "I need to throw over water but don't want to lose a disc" disc.

I think more research needs to be conducted before I'm sold on the dimples again. As for now, Innova is landing the furthest away from the box for me.

The problem with dimples, at least from what I've seen, is that they pick up dirt and mud in the dimples too easily, and it's really a pain to try to get it out of those tiny dimples with a towel.

What do you think about putting dimples on the TOP of the disc too?

I used to throw alot of Quest plastic.Too many inconsistent disc flight characteristics/changes in molds.
All new Infernos(including"classic") are nothing like older mold.
Raging Inferno DT was my goto driver for 2 yrs. Plastic would go beat quickly, but replacements were always there. Now I've got 4-5 DT's that i don't even throw because they're more overstable than the Raging Inferno(non-DT)
I also tried the T-Bone as it was billed as the straightest flyer out there. that thing was/is more overstable than my 2003-2005 Champ Monsters!
Just overall inconsistencies forced me to look elsewhere.

It used to be my go-to disc for approach shots but the gnarly rocks of J-Park have chewed it up pretty good. Still has a spot in my bag though. Originally it had a very neutral flight to it, really similar to what i've been seeing from the Star Mako I just picked up.

Here is one off eBay....... mine is not the soft version, in fact, it's actually made of some freakishly hard plastic !!
