A/B random doubles each player earns thier own points for each event.
Standings would be for individuals. A standings and B standings separate.
maybe A/B status based on ratings. ~900 and above A players below B players.
Could get hard to run if too many of 1 or the other showed up.
Maybe each event sign up would be like 36 A's and 36 B's?
Just some random thoughts.

I'm assuming you mean you and your partner play a series of tournaments, not show up and get paired with a random at each event.

Sorry Kenji...that was directed more towards Titan.

Both have the basic foundation for a fun series regardless!

yes, but you could work with multiple partners in different division's age protected, gender ect ect.

but the general theory would be to have a solid partner for the season just to make logistics easier.

I am sure some old timers would love to have that gun again and those guns would love some of that old timer steady eddy type of kung fu

couples could play and have it well "counts towards something" ,father-son's ect potential is unlimited.

most doubles events did not fill last year and there is usually plenty around new england to maybe get this going in the future

ok lets start a list of doubles events so I can send e-mails to td's and get some feed back from there perspective

season could run a little opposite from the singles series that way some icebowls and winter events could be factored in.

maybe start small 5 events in each state or something

who want's in on some serious planning for this?

I think it's a great idea Titan.

Run it during the IceBowl season.

Divisions could get interesting...

I'd be interested in helping out with it if/when it becomes a reality.

Nefa Dubz Series 10/11

Veteran's Day 2010 to Memorial Day 2011

6 month's

12 events's across 6 state's MA,CT,ME,VT,NH, and NY

2 events per month allowed

2 events per state allowed (so TD"S get in before they fill and YES I WILL FILL all the spots for the non-believers)

3 events to qualify for Final's

All other detail's can be ironed out from now till November and yes I know there is lots of work to be done

What does everyone think of the time frame?

In: MA: Tully Dubz Tourney Veteran's day TD Tully Disc Golf Club

I know we could go bigger and allow more events in each state but for now I think a more controlled 1st run would fit better for the overall long term future of the series

So we have interest from Ct

Commitments from MA and ME

NY Jeff W.? you commit a doubles event I will pull another 1 unless you want 2? hint hint

have not spoken to VT but they are cool so I am sure something can be worked out? JRapp, Andy piZZOWL, Ben P, Johhny B?

NH not much but I will send Blaze a shout and check with pinnacle about maybe an icebowl doubles at the sk ijump

Td's send me a shout filling quick

Lets here some thoughts about divisions from players and td's remember we need to keep them fair and simple as all divisions will need to be offered at the events. 1 down side IMO but can be worked out I believe.

Any format will be acceptable best disc, best score singles, ect ect ect. any doubles format

My main hunk of work will be working out data input would love some advice from you computer wizards. I will commit to the data entry if I was given the right tool

first plan would be to get a hair cut

but all joking aside this is gonna be big I like it

Another idea since its easy to add parts to the message board an "On going projects area" should be created instead of sorting through general discussion I think I will send jobo a pm

Jeff early dates planned do you have the same schedule for your ice bowls every year? and can you make your ice bowl a dubz so a new event does not need to be created less work that way

J-Park Ice Bowl is always the weekend after the Super Bowl. Making it a dubs event could be a possibility. Get the divisional issues squared away and then we'll talk.

If you wanna keep it simple:
Pro/Pro
Pro/Am
Am/Am
Mixed(male/female)
