Nice!
Those are CARS. Unique...each one.
It used to be that one could tell if it was a Mustang or a Camaro (etc) coming at you from 1/2-mile away (on a long strip of road - like the rt. 83 drag spot just into MA from CT). Now one has to literally look for a name on the car or a hood insignia to differentiate among them all.
And don't even get me going on the "every car out there nowadays is silver-gray in color".

That's what I'm saying!!!
Somewhere along the way (probably in the 80's), the car designers lost all their guts and succumbed to the plain jane / generic / tried and true / same 'ol same 'ol and forgot about being "new".
MAYBE the recent shake up (economic snafu, etc.) will change that; let's hope so.

You two are both crazy!!
Four major syling differences with the cars in side view.
1.The way the headlight & taillamp openings wrap around the side.
2. Side mirror area is different.
3. Quarter windows(kinda above the rear wheel) are completely different.
4. "Fish Gill" features(front of rear wheel) on the Camaro are not on the Mustang.
.....again, I worked at GM for many years, I notice these things.

Jeff,
So are you saying that now-a-days cars have the same amount of "difference" as those of 40 years ago?
If you are, you're blinder than a bat.
Sure, there are some minor differences in those 2 cars (in your pics) but overall they're VERY similar in height, profile, length, angles, etc.
Copy, copy, copy! No one is gutsy enough to think / design for themselves any more!
Heck, today I walked up to a "generic car" (yes, it WAS silver-gray) and said to myself "I can't tell what MAKE this car is, let alone what MODEL this is, and I'm less than 3 car lengths away". I was not until I saw an emblem (never DID see a model name-plate) that I found out the brand.

I do think that having a very distinct model of car is cool. I've always loved Corvette's (not to make Bobby's head any bigger than it already is). But I do like owning a car that is plain and most people have no idea what they are dealing with on the road. Sometimes the looks on people faces are just priceless when they try and make a move on me and in a brief second it's so "over" they don't even know what hit them.
