Wick vs B-lands March 28th at The Wick

Team B-lands,

When would y'all like to come our way to play some fun winter golf? Keep in mind that Tourney 54 is 3/6 and the Min.-Man is 3/13. I have to work the weekend of 3/20-3/21 and there is a chance that Team Crafty is heading down south at the end of the month (3/22-3/29).

Which means there are only a few available days if I'm going to be there. Team Wick has had several March challenges with out me in the past. I'm sure azz. capts. Lick your Nickel can run things smoothly if need be.

Please check your schedules and get back to me.

Wick will not be open until April. We might be able to do it early April if it doesn't conflict with the finale selection. April 4th is Easter but the 3rd could work if we can get both teams to agree.

Otherwise we will be playing elsewhere. Some possible locations would be Heroes,Crane Hill, or maybe West Thompson.

I tried to arrange our Buff challenge there, but Hero felt the course wasn't quite ready. He did say, we could use the course for our March challenge if and when the course was ready. I'll touch base with him and see where we stand. Team Wick might have to get together for another workday to help push this thing along.

We usually plan that in March. Give people a month advance, It's gonna likely be mid to early April, looking at the late April schedule, we got tournies on the 17/18 and 24/25 that are likely to be attended by alot of the league, SO. I think we'll be looking at May 9th... if we want to go late and allow for tiebreaking measures.. or.. April 4th, 10th or 11th. Thats really all that's left in April.. cuse I am not screwing anyone with the date this year. If I remember correctly we played the day after Frizzak Open last year, and it conflicted with something. It's something I also want to focus on next year with scheduling, ecsp. the Ice Bowl season.

Do we want to try and get this thing scheduled for March or maybe the first weekend in April? As it stands now, the finale might be the 2nd weekend in April.

Let me know.

I haven't spoken to Hero yet because of the April option at Wick (our home course)

Usually first weekend in April. If the baskets are in earlier, I can check with the park about maybe sneaking in at the end of March.

Borderland, remember that if you end up in a tie with Buffumville for the last A pool spot, you'll need to break that tie somehow, if you play easter weekend at CT, I don't know how you'll have time to break the tie.

I think the only options for March are 3/20 (vineyard), 3/21, 3/27, 3/28.

what is the end of march mean to the Park? As in, we can play 3/27 or 3/28? The problem I have with going into the month of April is that we have a 2x event for that first weekend.

NEFA 2x event > team challenge

I dropped a note to Hero this morning about a possible challenge at his course for the weekend of March 27th/28th.

However, there is a chance that Wickham Park will let us play our March challenge at our home course prior to the official opening of the Park (which is the first weekend of April)

I would prefer to play at Wickham the last weekend of the March, if not hopefully Heroes. Other back up courses will be Crane Hill,West Thompson or J-Pros backyard home course( :lol:

Hero has given us the ok to play his course at the end of March. If The Wick falls thru, Heroes will be a great alternative.

Team Wick,

Hero would like to have another workday to finish the four holes we started the last time out. He does have 18 completed holes, but would love for us to play the new ones also.

Drop me a line if you have some free time one between now and the end of March.

The 28th would be better for us. I am going to vacation with Crafty at the end of the month. I can come home a few days early to make the challenge on the 28th.
