Farm Team @ Maple Hill~March 7

Post by Shaun LaForce »

Looks like March is a pretty busy month for both sides.

Really only one date open....

I'm bummed if March 7th was the only date that could be agreed upon. Nothing later in the month works? My wife is due with our son for late Feb so this isn't looking good for me. I really hope something else can work...

This is the time of year when TC starts to conflict with the tourney season.

With a tourney every saturday, it really only leaves sundays.

The last weekend in March(27-28) has been ruled out at the request of Farm Team.

The weekend before that(20-21), much of Team Mape will be on the Vineyard.

The weekend of the 13-14, Several members of The Mape will be out of town attending a wedding.

Hopefully we will have as many there as possible on the 7th.

Understood. Busy time of the year. I really wanted to play Maple Hill, but it looks like it isn't going to happen for me. Good luck boys. I'll have to make it down this summer.

Just got back from walking Maple Hill. There is still a decent amount of snow up there. Anywhere from 3" to over a 12" in some areas but full coverage throughout the entire course. The majority of it being hard packed snow.

As of now it looks like all the ponds are still frozen but may not be the case by next weekend. We WILL be playing all the ponds as OB. If anyone has any yellow rope available, please let me know so i wont have to purchase any.

All tee boxes are still covered with a few inches of crusty snow. It seems like it should be fairly easy to clean them up and get them exposed. I will be heading back up there tomorrow at some point to start clearing. If anyone is around and can lend a hand, it would be appreciated.

next week looks like it should be mid 30s to low 40s so some melting will help the situation. ill be able to get out there after work next week and clear some tees off if need be. Maple will be in Prime shape for sure!

If any of you Mainers need a place to crash for the weekend, let me know.

Got room for 3 comfortably, possibly more if people want to sleep on the floor.

We are 15-20 mins from Maple Hill.

Shaun and I gave the boxes and left and a right. He shoveled the snow this morning and I went later and got a lot of the from ice to pure rubber, a couple had thick spots but wont last. A little more work tomorrow and a round on Saturday, will be just the thing they need.
If you don't pay or play how can improvements be made.

I know she's my wife, but Michelle was a rockstar yesterday! At 6 months trust me she's got a belly, yet she still put it right down the middle every time, and to top it off she 3'd hole 7 red to blue by herself. It was a fun match.
