Lost & Found-at-the-bottom List, winter 2009-2010

Attached is a list of names, initials, and area codes of people who have lost discs – and have been found at the bottom – of Buffumville Lake. Each line item equals 1 disc.

The discs are listed in alphabetical order as the writing is on the disc. Please check the entire list as you may have written your last name on 1 disc and your initials on a different disc, or your first name on 1 and your nickname on another, etc.

Note that the recovery fee is $2 per disc.

A. If you wish to have your disc back, I will periodically post – giving several weeks notice to all – when I will be at Buffumville with the discs so you can get them.

B. If you do not wish to have your disc back, you can contact me, I will take your name off the list and the disc will – after 6 months of “storage” – be donated (to schools, for use as a loaner disc (Buffumville Rangers), to camps, to the Boy Scouts, etc.). This list will be updated and reposted by me when possible…and after I pull up (from the bottom) additional discs.

C. If a disc is not claimed in 6 months, it will also be donated.

Again, please don't post on this thread (it's just the list); make all inquiries and comments on the normal Buff L&F thread

In my efforts to try to get discs back to people, I'll be at the Newton Hill dg tournament on 8/21 with all the water-found Buff Lake L&F discs.

If you won't be making the tournament but have a disc(s) on the list and want them back, let someone pay for it / pick it up for you (if they ARE going to be there). Let them know!

If you ARE coming, be a hero to your league / area / course mates and pay ($2ea), pick-up, and distribute a bunch. Just check the whole list and see if you know who you can do a good deed for.

Cape Cod'rs - who's your man?
B-landers - I know you'll be in attendence...
North Shorers - send a rep!
Western Massites...?

Understand that 2/3rds of these discs were found during the March dive and will be donated during September if unclaimed.

Went diving again...pulled up "a bunch". Will update the list next week, will post it here, and will post a hard-copy on the Buffumville bulletin board.

Note that I'll also be culling out the March's dive's discs from the more recent ones and will be donating these earlier onles to?? If you've asked me for some (in the past) - Timmy, Jay, et al - and still want some, let me again know (and about how many you're looking for).

Oh snap...I forgot to give the fine lad the cold one. I just saw this thread and will get it to him.

Only one of the discs was mine, but it was an 11x Teebird in new condition. Thanks for cleaning it Karl. I looks brand new.

Next time I'll be at Buffumville with all the water-found discs will be Sunday, November 21st from 12 noon - 3pm.

This will likely be the last time to get back any discs I found during the May dive (as they'll be 6+ months old then and I'll be donating them).

I just came across this thread and see that you have indeed found one of my discs (steve abbott). I will be unable to make it to buff on sunday... would there be any possible way to get you to keep the disc until next time you will be there? i would really appreciate it! send me an email: stephenmabbott@gmail.com
