Wick Tues. HC league

Post by Stephen Ditter »

Tues. HC League will be starting the first Tues. of April, which I believe is the 6th.

I will be using the same HC calculations as last year. (Big thanks to Heather Eng)

All of last years data will continue into the 2010 season. All new players to the league will play their 1st 3 rounds paying only the Ace and Course $1 and will not be eligible for the payout. New players who want to play for the pay out prior to obtaining their 3 round HC can pay and play straight up.

We will no longer be trickling off Hole 8 at the begining of the season. The Park has graciously agreed to stay until our round is over. (withn reason, there will be no multi hole playoffs) Therefore, we will always meet at hole one and play from there.

The fee and start time has not changed. It will still be $7 to play ($5 payout, $1 Ace pot and $1 course fund) and we will start trickling off hole 1 at 4:30 with the last group heading out around 5:00 (last group time changes with longer/shorter daylight hours)

All Ace pot winners will receive only 80% of the current Ace pot. The other 20% will be used to seed the next pot. I'm also toying with the idea of capping the pot at $100 and starting a new pot.

There will not be any payout or collection (except for $2) of payout the first week or two. Similar to last season, when we used the first few rounds to collect data for HC.

Local tags will start the 13th, which is the first Tues after the "Pass the Tags out" tournament.

Looking forward to another fun season at The Wick!!!!!

Hey Ditter,

Ever toy with the idea of a Bogey Free Pot? I played in a league in Florida and they have a Bogey Free Pot on top of the Ace Pot, maybe it's another $1 towards the fee but it would be something different added to the league.

What do you think?

Just a reminder that Tues. HC League starts this week. I will at the course by 4:15 to get things organized, the first group can go out by 4:30. The goal is to have the last group teeing off by 5:00. No payout the first two weeks, just HC data, ACE Pot and course fund. So $2 buy in.

Here are the league cards, big thanks to DPS Computers and The Crafty Scientist for sponsoring Tues. Leauge.

Brett,

Once the closing time increases to 8:00, the last group will be going out at a latter time. You can also play the league after 5:00 as long as you play with at least one other person and finish prior to them locking the gate.

Hope to see you out there whenever you can make it.

Mullen I'll be there around 4:15, I'll give you cash tonight for the Match Play.

Abel want to wait around and play in a group with me? We haven't hung out much lately.

Great first day of league! It was awesome to watch your round Jesse. And who's shot a 48 on this new layout? I thought for sure it was the course record.
