gonna be out there the next two saturdays (at least) to do what can be done to deal with the damage from a record snow fall and a record rainfall the past few weeks. gonna need a few chainsaws and a some dragging of limbs to improve the conditions. Who can make it? Who can get out there at diff. times? Who has a chain saw ready to go??

The weather is looking good for getting a lot of work done, cool and sunny

Please come to FDR to help. Stuff that would be good to bring: a chainsaw, a pole saw, work gloves, work clothes, water, energy

a few hours work by a hard working crew will make a huge difference....

All volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer services agreement in the park office.

When you get to the park give me a call 914 589-0197 for details. I plan to start working at 9.

thanks for the support BN

Daver and brother Lee Coats made a nice dent in the FDR storm clean up job yesterday afternoon. The chainsawed a bunch of downed stuff on the front nine, make its removal much easier.

Work sat morning will get going at 9, likely starting on hole 13 and 14, which got hit the hardest and have the most limbs to be chopped up and put into the woods/into piles.
