Fantasy (Ball) Golf League

Post by Ryan Brunelle »

If anyone is interested in this very cool league, send me a PM or email the commish directly. The League starts next week with the Masters...welcome back Tiger!!

2010 FGL RULES

• $50.00 Entry Fee

• Multiple entries are allowed

• Pick a golfer every week...you can only pick the golfer once. Once he is used, can't use him again.

• You get the $$ earned by that golfer for each week. Most $$ at the end wins. It is pretty simple. I get the final standings from CBS Sports or PGA tour.com.

• For the 4 Majors (Masters, US Open, British Open and PGA) you will be allowed to pick two (2) golfers. You will get the combined prize money from both. This rule is designed to place more emphasis on the Majors.

• If your golfer doesn’t make the cut. You get no money for that week.

• Picks have to be in prior to the start of the first round. NO EXCUSES. This is the one thing people seem to have the most trouble with. The BRITISH OPEN starts early so get your pick in before it starts.

• PRIZES – Will be based on the total amount of entries:

o (2009 Pay Outs) Total Pot- $1100
 1st - $500
 2nd -$300
 3rd - $150
 4th - $100
 5th - $50

• There will be a spreadsheet emailed out on Thursday of every week with everyone’s picks.

• Picks should be emailed to me or you can call my work number to leave your pick. Both are date and time stamped.

o Email: scottemay@yahoo.com
o Work phone: 203.523.4202

• Important: If your golfer withdraws before the tournament starts. If you catch this, you can change your golfer and not be penalized for changing. You will be able to use the golfer that withdrew again.

• Important: If your golfer withdraws after the start of the first round. You are stuck with that golfer and there is nothing that can be done. This is just bad luck that happens every once in a while. It is part of the league

• Please note, I take a free entry to run this league. There is a lot of work that goes into running this so I hope no one minds. Please let me know if anyone has issue with this.
and in the end
we have learned
to love the journey
and not the destination...

In the end, my friend, we will all be together again...
