Two aces in a row

Post by Jason Southwick »

Here's one. Yesterday before Pyramids Monday league, whose ace pot is now at $234, and growing, with Silvers next Monday.

Jeff Chauvin aces Hole 5 with a straight shot KC Pro Aviar. Then he steps up to Hole 6, remembers to ask whether there were any other 1s, and proceeds to ace Hole 6 with the same disc.

Two shots in a row for two aces. I'm pretty sure at least here it's unprecedented.

Couple years ago during the Vibram Kieran and I went to pyramids to get a practice round in with one of our other friends. We step up to hole five and both tell him that this is the hole to ace. He hits first available so I step up and ace the gold which we were playing. Immediately after that Kieran steps up and gray aces the silver basket with a messed up anny shot. Probably one of the coolest things thats ever happened in any of my rounds.

Is Searle the guy with a tattoo about hitting back2backs at worlds? I seem to remember a tattoo article in DGWN a while back about someone who had done that

I think Rock may have a tat or two. I know him best from the USDGC where he and his wife Pat put in a pile of volunteer hours each year. Pat usually spots on #3 and Rock works #4. They do player package stuffing and a bunch of other chores, parking their RV in a spot created just for them behind the Innova East building. Great folks, retired after long service in the military, lots of great tales to tell.
