Team Panthorn 2010-2011

Post by Tim_Griskus »

Hello Team Panthorn!!!

Co-Captain TRB here, just wanted to update the team on what your captains CCow and I have been up to this off season. As most of you know we have had 2 of our team members Abel & Nick Connell pursue other options for the Team Challenge while we're sad to see them go I want to wish them both best of luck on their new teams. Also I have spoken with Jon Wilkins and with his job schedule currently he won't be able to make Sunday challenges so he and I have discussed and he will not be on the active roster this season unless the rosters are expanded or I am on the DL. He was all for the best interests of the team and for not having other teams players sit.

With all that said Chris & I are happy to welcome 3 new members to Team Panthorn!!!

Chris Whalen, Brian Carter & Brett Antosik

WELCOME to the Team!!!

Our Roster is now as follows for the 2010/2011 Season.

Chris Bolton - Co Captain
Tim Griskus - Co Captain
Tim Kap
Jon Serpliss
Matt Serpliss
Jimi Bristol
Mike Schadt
Mike Zorovich
Matt Aubin
Ozzy Nunez
Brett Antosik
Brian Carter
Chris Whalen
Erica Hulme
Chris Webb

Looking like a solid roster for this season, Chris and I were discussing what everyone would like to do for Team Gear this year? I know T-shirts really didn't work out in the cold, did we want to try maybe hoodies or something like that? I have the place where we got the hats done, they already have the logo setup for embroidery, so we can do hoodies, maybe vests, polo's, windbreakers? What do you think? Speak up!!

Thanks all, looking forward to another fun season.

Co-Capt,
TRB

no can do. i plan on putting all my free time in helping get Panthorn get ready for GRWO. my time is limited and i really want to help LICk make sure panthorn is in its best condition. team challenge season isn't for another 3 months, maybe an early november/ late october practice is in order.

on another note. it appears that there is a vote taking place on the "captains only tread"...something about regional vs. a/b pool format. any info? how did you two vote? team discussion?

schedule will be posted after everything is worked out between captains first. then its mutual decision between captains from both teams for what day of that month the challenge will be played. maybe if possible we can just used the grwo as a practice, seeing how most of the team will be playin it anyways

Hello Team:

Just want to update you guys on something that I was made aware of this weekend. While playing a round with Chris Webb he informed me that he will no longer be playing for Team Panthorn. We talked about it during an amazingly fun time at Heroes, he will actually be joining another team, I won't announce what team it is until they post it, however he has played with and has been friend with many of the team members from this team for years and decided to play for them.

So with that said Chris and I will do some discussing and talk about who we can ask to fill his spot.

Thanks,
TRB

P.S. More info coming about rosters and what not down the road.

I just wanted to thank everyone on Team Panthorn for all the good times last winter.

As TRB mentioned, the opportunity to play with others whom I have known for many years arose and took it.

Big thanks to TRB and C-Cow for getting everything running last year and this year.

For Zoro being the grill master and Ozzie for the sauages. Schadt and Aubin for always providing the proper mindset and a smile before each match.

The Serps and remaining cows, Erica and Jimi, we will be seeing you around and about, thanks.

And good luck to all the new pickups with year, you are joining a great bunch of guys and gals!
