West Thompson and Woodland are schedule to play each other two months in a row.
Also, just out of curiosity, how were the Byes decided?

Both borderland teams have their home matches the same month. It could still work though, but the captains should plan ahead early.

Re: 2010/11 Team Challenge Schedule, Results and Standings
Could we get an explenation of how the schedule was determined? Just wondering if it was random or if anything was taken into consideration. Seems like there is some huge differences between strength of schedule between the various teams in the challenge.

Certainly travel wise it does not add up. If you look at Boregess, they travel to a neutral site and to NASA, with two CT teams coming to play them at the Cape. B-Land on the other hand travels to CT 2x on the schedule.

Burgess logged 900 Miles of travel last year.
You signed up for a league that requires travel.
It alternates from Year to Year.
Our closest course is 60 miles away. And we don't complain!

Re: 2010/11 Team Challenge Schedule, Results and Standings
You play the 3 other teams in your division.
The neutral was randomly picked, except for Cran vs Bennett, because they both agreed last year that they should play each other every year during the regular season bc the first 2 years they didn't and for potential tie breaker scenarios.
The Feb was semi random, the only thing that wasn't was the home team to make sure everyone got 2 home and 2 away. If you happened to get a team at the same course you played last year, I just ran it again on random.org.
You never play the same team at the same place back to back years.
Once again travel considerations aren't taken into account. Also, Nasa isn't close to us Mike. Going to Tolland is less of a trip for you than us going to Nasa. Also, you don't know where we're playing Capt lawrence so don't act like you have to go all that much farther than us.
Also, as for Burgess, I didn't hear anyone complain last year when we went to Maine and to Cranbury and also played Wickham, the top 3 teams last year...
