I picked this up last week, and am a huge fan of the archery, disc golf, and bocce. While I have only played the first Tiger Woods disc golf, this game is much more realistic. The game currently has 18 holes with 2 sets of tees, and contributing wind at the higher levels of play. There are three discs to choose from (putter, mid, driver), with each flying different distances, and different stabilities. You can throw backhand, forehand, overhand, with potential rollers (haven't perfected quite yet). I love that discs will follow true flight paths, for example a rh backhand throw with anhyzer will actually cut back to fall left. The initial cost is $100, including 1 move controller, 1 motion camera, and "Sports Champions" game. Note - back of the game states each player must have their own move controller, but I have played multiplayer sharing 1 controller. I definitely see some great potential to downloading new courses, and this is just another step towards selecting from a library of virtual discs!

Thanks for the review Roger. Doesn't sound like too bad a deal for $100. Which of my kids could I buy this for so that I can play it?? Next birthday is Dec.

Very nice graphics and fairly realistic disc flights. Now all it needs is a way to download J-Park.

I picked up the Move with gift cards yesterday. The disc is very fun, archery not so much. Seems like the drivers is very T-Bird like, Hold any line you put it on.

I only have the Sports Championship atm, has anyone tried any other games?

I bought this the day after Christmas utilizing a gift card. Pretty cool. If they put money, time, and energy into developing it further, it would be outstanding.

What makes the disc go far? (Long swing? fast swing? wrist snap?)

i think it is both fast swing, and wrist snap. I was pulling off some nice airbounces last night. One of the cpu opponents was driving overhand, but I couldnt quite get that to work.

And how far can you throw it flat ground? Over 400? It looks like there are some cool skyzer lines to cheat corners that require a 400+ foot shot but I dont have that shot quite yet (I have been playing disc for 20 years and I don't have that shot in real life either  )

I don't think I have cleared 325, but I haven't played that much, just the Bronze round.

I am pretty sure that the longer you play, the longer the holes get and the further you throw, I know when Heenan brought his down to Todd's house, they had everything unlocked, and people were throwing Bomb Anhyzers like 400+... as long as the hole allowed for it.

Thanks. I changed my outfit and equipment but my guy is not any better. I guess this is more like Barbie dress up and accessorize than Tiger Woods.
