Wow! ouch.

My chances are slimmer now. I'm gonna have to drop one of the icebowls.

I guess that leaves the 19th.

Cool...but why not just ask them if the 19th works to make things much easier for everyone?

Those ib dates above are also only one of the days out of those wknds. So it actually leaves the 13th , 19th, 20th, and 27th as possibilities.

I would like to say away from the same day as the ice bowls.

Bill and I will make a decision on Monday. 19th is probably the best choice.

I'll be heading up on Friday night and hitting up Willamantic. What's good on tap right now?
Any suggestions for hotels somewhere between the brewery and the course?

I would try to NOT stay in Willimantic if at all possible. Maybe find a hotel in Coventry/Bolton area?

Honestly, I think there are only B&B's in the bolton/coventry area. If I were you I would stay in Vernon, CT. It is right next to 84 so you will be able to shoot up to the course in 15mins. Plus there is plenty in the area as far as breakfast or late night snacks are concerned. Check out either the Howard Johnson or Comfort Inn both are on Hartford Turnpike and near the highway and food. I think there is also a motel 6 on that same road. I'm sure google can steer you in the right direction from here. But if it were me, I'd stay in Vernon! :D

I haven't been out there all week, but we had a little melt off the last few days. Work day saturday and tourney on sunday so it should be in good shape come challenge time (tees will be clear and there are rubber pads). The snow is deep in spots so be prepared.

There is a Best Western in Mansfield, next to Willimantic and also on the UCONN campus is the Nathan Hale Inn which is about 10 minutes from Willimantic and the course.

1st round (singles match play) will start at 9:00.
Matchups 8:30ish

Lunch provided by TT. I believe Jay is arranging for grinders from a local place. So TT members bring $ to cover your portion of lunch.

Second round doubles stroke play 18 holes after lunch.

I got a room at the Motel 6 in Vernon. I tried both of David's suggestions but they were full.
Great rate at the motel 6...less than $50.

We'll be raging at the Willimantic Brewery on Friday night. Hope to see some of TT there!

Bring it on Tolland! Sorry but...there is no way you will be getting in our way on our quest to stay in the A pool!

Charlie,

Know # of hotel? I'll get a room as well for myself, Uncle Bill and half of MoJo.

Psyched for Willimantic Brewery. :drunken:
