Team Crane Hill?
This is the opportunity for people who are also interested in team challenge to get involved in a potential new team, Team Crane Hill. I love my home course and I'd love to make it better in the process of meeting new people and playing a sport I really enjoy. I'd also really like to play new courses, and this would be a great excuse. Plus, it can only make me (us) better players. I want to use this topic as a springboard for discussion to hopefully build a team to play next season, and obviously win
. Who's interested?

Re: Team Crane Hill?
Hey kretschy, that's a great idea. I've been discussing bringing a team to Crane Hill since late this summer (when it was obviously too late to try to whip anything together). I think it would be a great idea to get a team at Crane Hill started. Titan, I had been meaning of sending you a pm about this ever since the debate/debacle that has been the team challenge thread experience with you, Sean and Solbo
...
It'd be interesting to see how the introduction of a new team in western mass impacted the organization and potential changes made to the team challenge structure next year.
In short, Crane Hill has a great number of committed players and a well designed layout, which would be perfect for making a team there. In my discussions with people about this subject I have (including myself) six people definitely interested in playing for a Team CH next year and another two who have expressed interest. All eight of these players are Nefa members and 5/8 play Am1. Aka, watch out team challenge... Could Crane Hill make a splash next year??
Kretschy, I would love to spearhead the efforts to get a team together at Crane Hill and have you involved as well. I'm thankful for you bringing it up and getting this discussion started. I was hesitant myself because I didn't want to jeopardize my loyalties to Team Nono....

Re: Team Crane Hill?
Excellent. Thanks Pete. I have met a lot of great players up there, and I was only nervous that many of them already play for other teams. I have a few people who have also expressed interest to me (not sure if our lists overlap), but I will message you and we can talk about this.
With the efforts that Davis is undertaking in course improvement through grant money from the town, I think a team would only add to improving the course and increasing course pride and care. Davis and Dan (among others) shouldn't be solely responsible. Plus, winning would be fun too...

Crane Hill will need two teams, two parking lots, and nine more holes... It's the best in the west!

If Marco leaves, who will Dodge pick on?
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

Re: Team Crane Hill?
Might I suggest you start a small league and possibly recruit from that? I know pete was thinking about it before.
