I have a hard time seeing where this is coming from. Is it based on some direct interaction that you have had? It seems to be a rather broad statement. Personally, I don't agree. Maybe that is because I'm a Mass DGer myself.

As long as all the jesting is equal and and in good fun. I don't think anyone takes the TC trash talking too seriously.

Yeah, I think the case of actual dislike/hostility is few and far between. We just have thick skin and like to josh around with each other.

I think the majority of the trash talking is between people that already know each other.

Nope, just from you sweetheart. :D

and it was more like, "Ouch, that's really deep." (in your best southern drawl, like a scene from Deliverance, while you sounded like a hog)

I think you've just proved this thread's authors point. Fate not looking good.

And nobody on borderland wants you even around let alone in us. Suck yourself, screw yourself, eat yourself, play with yourself.... etc..

And I did not disprove the author cause I live in the great state of Connecticut !!!

Why do people from Maine park their pick - ups in their front yards, instead of their driveways?

Exactly
I've had some long TC "discussions" ( ) with several people whom I meet up with afterwards on the course and we all joke and laugh about it.
Just a lot of big personalities in Mass DG, but trust me at least 9 out of 10 of us know it's all in good fun, we don't really hate eachother, yes we're very competitive but we do understand that losing is part of the game.
If you check back, I'm pretty sure you won't see any "mean" comments AFTER a team challenge is over.
All in good fun :)
