Cooks Pond Disc Golf Tournament (Worcester Ma.) Feb. 19th

Post by Steve Economos »

Hey everybody, I am running a disc golf tournament at Cooks Pond in Worcester Ma. on February 19th. I have set up a course that plays across the ICE and some of the islands. :D Every year in February my dad, brother and I cook breakfast and run fun events all day long on the pond. This year we will be running a disc golf tournament. :D There is a club house on the main island with a giant stone fire place that holds about 70 people. We will be cooking breakfast from 7-11 a.m. It is $3 all you can eat  , and the food is wicked good, so come and eat before we head out for the first round. This is a good chance to check out the club and the pond if anybody is interested in becoming a member.

Disc Golf Tournament
All you can eat breakfast
Full Payouts
Sap Shots
CTP's
Ring of Fire (2 Red Sox Tickets)
Ice Fishing
Club house open all day (usually a pitch or poker game going on)

More info to come...

This is an event you don't want to miss!!!

Out of curiosity, what kind of targets/ baskets are we going to be looking at?

As MapleGate dubs demonstrated, plenty of portables are available if ya ask.

I'm anxious to see the layout. Is there any way we can preview it. Cube and I were thinking about making a trip down there sometime this weekend to check out the piece of property.

Many of us TR'ers seems to be in deep deep hibernation...

I am to skinny for this winter golf stuff...I more then likely will be down to chill in cabin...I will try to round a lil crew up..!

The Event sounds like fun...kinda of a winter DG carnival

Lets go people !!!!! I'm excited to see a new course in Worcester. For those who don't know the Economos's they are a great Family just trying to grow the sport like everyone else. Lets at least try to get 50 people for this event to thank them for everything they've done and if your excuse is that its to cold or theres snow on the ground then MEOW to you. Grow a set and help support local golfers
