I heard rumblings that Barre was the place........... i guess it'll depend on the conditions there.

Hey West T,

I believe the tentative plan is to have this shindig at Barre. That's where Tasty and I left off the last time we discussed this match. As for the other questions...

- Day of week TBD. We have babies being born, job changes...etc that make predicting even our next team challenge a process right now.

- We will take shirts... I'll pray you go the same route :puker:

- Gas Mask... but tell Aucoin I won't have 2 lbs of bacon & bleu cheese burgers in foil with dipping salsa for him this time :puker: :pukel:
4/20/11, Ace #2, Devens - Hole 18. You just read that.

I am a little worried about this one. What are these courses going to look like after a major thaw? Will they be under water? I am guessing that by then some of this stuff will be gone, or atleast in the form of liquid. These being DAM courses, that water from the deep snow pack has to go somewhere. I have seen Barre underwater and it's not pretty. I can imagine Tully would hold up better, minus the first few holes. Are we looking at an early date or late? Don't want to rain on the parade, but we all need to think about this.

HGH..was crushing sharts last TC we played WT

Tully and Barre will be phucked..for SURE..! Tullz will be missing at least 4 holes..we have a system though..we play holes 10-13 2x's...Barre will only be missing..what at most 2-3 holes...I would think Barre would be good enough to play..could always just add a temp hole..plenty of room there for something..actually some cool spots

FR would kinda be local for the purposes of the "home" match for DAM team...and we use that course for Tully leagues in early Spring..

anyways I will be there to insult people and get wasted..no matter the venue

hasnt the DAM team already used both tully and barre as home courses and wouldn't be able to claim another?

not saying that FR isn't a great alternative given the conditions, i just want to bring it up before someone on another team jumps in and involve themselves.

Baiting me Cheef?

You're only supposed to have (2) but if captains agree, I guess anything goes!

if there isn't an issue w/a 3rd home course I say FR is a great idea. We'll destroy them anywhere they want.

Though we have called the DAM team the Tully/Barre area's team, we have only played 1 Home Match and that was at Tully. I don't know how Barre will look but if both of the "home" courses are disasters, maybe it's in the rules to be able to switch a home course that hasn't been played citing unplayable conditions. I just don't know.

However, I think Barre should be fine and if worse came to worse we can always do something like Titan said where you loop a few holes twice to cancel off the unplayable holes.

If you haven't played the course yet this season then I believe you can choose any other course for a second home course, so you could just straight up choose FR over Barre if wanted.

So you just have to decide which course you'd rather have you butts whooped on.

Thanks, I have a lot of respect for all of you up in Maine. I wanted us to end in a tie, which would have been fitting. Got a lot of respect for Mr. Mondor, a great player. I thought I had you on the last(regulation) hole. But damn you, after I drove 35ft. away from the pin on the last hole, so did you! Rip it up in A-pool! I want to have fun at the last challenge. No chance at A-pool so lets end the regular season with a bang. I want all of us Westies to have fun wherever we play...
