Just wondering if the course is open, if u need advanced notice to play there. I'm going to be in the area this weekend (1/21) and would love to check it out/ and get contact info

Hey Andrew,
advanced notice is needed. I usually send Hero a private message a couple of days early then when I want to play or write him an e-mail. As it may be, I'll be going there tom. 1/21 at 9:30 to play a round or two. Should be a hanful of others.

Statistical infromation........Mattioli and chipchase beat the course record in the same round shooting 55's. Nice Shooting!

hey, any of you "regulars" (chip, jesse, anyone else) gonna be free to hit hero's on saturday morning this weekend? I'm looking to get a round in probably ~9am or so before my sister comes into town that afternoon and I do really want to get up there and check the course out. Lemme know, right now the forecasts are still saying the bad stuff should hold off until sunday

I'm gonna be shooting for 9am teetime, so I'll be showing up a little earlier. I think Hero wants advance notice but I was gonna shoot him an email and let him know myself and probably a few others were planning to head up. I dont think for him it's a "yes/no" thing as much as a "just so i know who's on my property and my wife doesnt call the cops and think trespassers are walking around about to break into our house"

I know in one of my emails with him he had indicated she wasn't 100% keen on the idea of random people showing up and just waltzing onto the property, so that may be it or at least part of the reason anyway.

Send him an email and he'll give you the okay. Like Dave said it more for FYI reasons.

I'm gonna try to be there for 9:00ish but maybe later. Its easy enough to find people once you get there anyway. If you are bringing extra people just put it in the email.

There is a mail box near the first tee with score cards as well as a Liability waiver. Sign it and you're good to go.

DM I'm sure he'll take donations. I know there was some talk of a one time membership fee to help with costs and buying tee pads.

JC,Chip and Clayton have been there since 10:00 and will be playing all day. Jack and I ,(maybe PJ) will be there about 11:30-12 and stay until meeting time. If you're going and want to call us on the course 638-9398 or 575-1768.
